Thanks Liam, I'm a huge fan of ridiculous Bjorn, and it's part of the whole package for me, but Mirakel would be a top ten hit for me by Sara Li alone too, it's a great dance-pop/schlager song!

 

I doubt Shout It Out will win, I really like it though for its genre. I must admit, I've never thought much of Cameo Lover before this week but downloading the album really helped me get into it!

 

I know what you mean about the Chris Brown/Rihanna collabs but I do quite enjoy both of them for all the wrong reasons so didn't think I should exclude them. For better or worse I always chart my current 75 favourite songs!

Correct. I still love it enough for it to chart in my top three regardless though :D I was a bit gutted at the start but I found a suitable replacement that I love just as much, plus I don't think I'd have felt very comfortable sending a song that's already seemingly well known (at least five people wanted it!), I had no idea that it was!

 

Indeed, I could see Fun. feasibly becoming big in my chart, but perhaps not bang in the middle of Eurovision season, my affections are elsewhere at the moment...I disagree about Ed, it's a nice track, and a great album track but it was never going to top my chart, I'd have preferred him to release The City.

 

I'm not sure that Rihanna's time is almost up, it's just a faltering era I guess, every artist has them, I bet she's still huge in five years time! She'll come back strong with a stomper a la We Found Love no doubt. The Chris Brown stuff won't do her any favours though granted...

1. Loreen - Euphoria (1) (CR-1-1-1) Fantastic to still see this at the top! I'm so surprised at how much the Swedish people have taken to it! I thought Danny was going to walk MF after hearing Amazing, but it's clear to see Euphoria has got a huge chance of winning too! Let's hope it's fans are the sort who'd pick up the phone and vote for her too!

2. Björn Ranelid feat Sara Li - Mirakel (NEW) (CR-2) :drama: I really can't get into this. Maybe if it was just Sara on her own I could start to like it, but I even find the chorus to be very weak. It just sounds like a bridge from a Gunther & The Sunshine Girls track!

4. Gossling - Wild Love (NEW) (CR-4) I haven't started listening to the BJSC entries yet, so I can't comment on this! I hope I like it though!

6. Darin - Nobody Knows (9) (CR-9-6) This is comfortably my favourite song of his now!

10. Timoteij - Stormande Hav (10) (CR-10-10) I can see this crashing out on Saturday sadly, which is a shame as it's easily the best track in AC

17. Emma Hewitt - Colours (NEW) (CR-17) This was in my chart some weeks back, and I did briefly consider it for BJSC XLI. It seems I've tossed aside a potential winner yet again :drama: :lol:

33. Anmary - Beautiful Song (NEW) (CR-33) I do quite like this, it won't be amongst my top favourites this year, but for a Latvian entry it's pretty great!

34. Michel Telo - Ai Se Eu Te Pego (Re-entry) (CR-26-OUT-34) Do you think this will take off in the UK in the summer? I hope so, as I love it! I just hope if it does get a push here, they do it with this version as the English version is shockingly dire!

43. Jedward - Waterline (NEW) (CR-28-43) I am glad Ireland chose this, it's almost certainly going to cause more interest in the contest in the UK than the eventual UK entrant will :lol:

46. Love Generation - Just A Little Bit (NEW) (CR-46) I am absolutely loving this at the moment! It's up there with the best singles of The Saturdays for me!

65. Max Barskih - Dance (NEW) (CR-65) This reminds me a lot of Narcotic Thrust's I Like It for some reason!

73. Nightwish - The Crow, the Owl and the Dove (NEW) (CR-73) The next single, and one of the better tracks on the album I feel! The bside is interesting though, a song based on The Heart Asks Pleasure First from The Piano!

74. Charlotte Thorstvedt feat Margaret Berger - Arrhythmia (NEW) (CR-74) Not heard of this before, but it sounds really good!

 

Nice to see Nightwish enter the top 10 in the albums, what did you think of it? I see Lena Philipsson at #2 as well, what's that album like? I'm toying with getting it, along with her Greatest Hits!

I mean I had Girl In Stilettos in my chart a few weeks back, I knew it would likely do well if entered but the problem lay in the fact that I just didn't love it enough to send it. Regardless of whether I think a track is a winner or not, if I can't get behind it and don't love it enough then I don't bother sending it. I wouldn't feel that overjoyed about winning with something which didn't even make the top 20 in my chart :lol:

34. I'm surprised to hear that you're such a fan of it! I could see it being very big in the UK in this version, it's been top 200 on iTunes for weeks with no promotion here at all! Whether they bother releasing it is another matter altogether...

I found bits and pieces of the Nightwish album hard to get into but I like it overall, a nice varied listen, something for everyone I think! Thanks West, nah, I think #7 might be Nicki's peak, RedOne/Dr Luke songs rarely get higher than #4-#7 for me, they tend to lose their appeal quite quickly usually. The same applies to Katy Perry, I don't see it being a HUGE hit in my chart, although I do like it a lot. It will be a huge worldwide hit of course!

4. Maybe not! I don't think I've made any amazing discoveries, which is the first time in a long time (unless some of the tracks seriously grow on me) - most of my major loves from both semis I already knew beforehand.

17. Um...actually no :lol: Nah, I'd be happy for Tinnmark, they deserve a win after all this time and it's a great track! I suppose I'd be slightly annoyed that I didn't send my PM off earlier but at the same time I'm honestly quite happy with the entry that I have - at least nobody already knows it, where it seems like a lot of people already know Some Die Young! The last time I thought that I'd got to a winner too late was when I tried to confirm Britt Love along with everybody else. Chart Music was my backup and we all know what happened there - every cloud :P
