February 24, 201213 yr I always thought Fljótavík = Flyot-a-vik? Kopečka = Ko-petch-ka (with the first syllable rhyming with the 'co' sound in 'cot').
February 24, 201213 yr With Usfland, I give up and just pronounce it U-S-F-land. That's is it how you pronounce Usfland. So sorry if people have problems trying to pronounce it.
February 24, 201213 yr That's very different from how I thought it was pronounced (how do you get 'hee-yoon' out of 'hun'?) I've always pronounced it in my head as 'die-hoon'. Persephonia is pronounced per-SEF-o-nee-a. Dae is Korean language with the AE always pronounced "aey" like the way you pronounce "hey" but with an a instead of h. As for hun, it's not the "hun" in the English language but rather "hyun" with the H pronounced "hee" and YUN pronounced "yoon". I always thought mine was as simple as it looks but guess not

February 24, 201213 yr Well I guess anything is acceptable as long as no-one calls my country "die-hun" :kink:
February 24, 201213 yr -Die-Hoon -Day-Hun -Daey-Hoon -Dae-Eh-Hun Funny how such a simple and short word can be said so many different ways by different people and with no-one saying at least the entire name the same as one another
February 24, 201213 yr That's is it how you pronounce Usfland. So sorry if people have problems trying to pronounce it. How would you pronounce Usfland
February 24, 201213 yr A lot of people how are saying 'it's simply _____' say it differently to how I do! For example: Unovia = You-no-vee-ah Daehun = Day-hun Ramyrnia = Ram-er-nee-ah Usfland = Us-flund
February 24, 201213 yr I always say Us-ef-land, because it didn't have capitals I thought that it would have a weird pronounciation rather than the simple U-S-F-land
February 24, 201213 yr i guess no one got budtar wrong :kink: That one IS as simple as it sounds
February 24, 201213 yr I always say Us-ef-land, because it didn't have capitals I thought that it would have a weird pronounciation rather than the simple U-S-F-land  I suppose that would be the best way to pronounicate it as Us-ef-land instead of the simple U-S-F-land. Usfland = Us-flund Another great suggestion thanks for it. At the end of the day, it's how you wish to pronounicate it. So thanks
