March 21, 201213 yr I've played my #100 20 times  I listen to as much music as anyone else, just a wider spread. I've probably listened to about 500-600 unique songs in the past week alone... How?!
March 21, 201213 yr How?! I listen to about 6-8 hours of music a day which is an easy 100 songs, and very rarely play the same song twice...sometimes I listen to music for 10-12 hours a day if I have a day off! It's always on in the house/car/work/everywhere!
March 21, 201213 yr ~70 songs a day. ~210 minutes = 3 1/2 hours. :o I'm lucky to spend 1 1/2 hours a day listening to music  Edited March 21, 201213 yr by Caïn
March 21, 201213 yr Closeup videos of Loreen in Västerås Kids from Loreens hometown Västerås is celebrating Loreen 2012-03-17. She thanks by singing and I think there is also a dance-school performing a special act for her. A big day at Sigmatorget Västerås. Note: Everybody is filming so there are zillion versions on youtube of the same event. Autographs, hugs and talk - Loreen Västerås The girl says: I made a video about you on youtube! Loreen: Aha, It's you who made it! Performance by dance-school Dansverkstan Edited March 21, 201213 yr by LalehForWD
March 21, 201213 yr She's from Västerås :o I thought there was nothing there apart from the tiny airport!
March 21, 201213 yr Loreen "Euphoria" acoustic live 2012-03-12 I throw this video of an acoustic charity concert in as well (for those that haven't seen it). It's a bit unclear who made the video and what the story behind is. I guess the 5 days in silence is completely gone now. Edited March 21, 201213 yr by LalehForWD
March 21, 201213 yr As I'm a complete noob at this, can someone please explain what this mean: http://kworb.net/itunes/laleh.html http://kworb.net/itunes/loreen.html The http://kworb.net/itunes/index.html page lists 1000 entries. 1 entry per artist? Position is about number of sold items (aka singel songs) on iTunes relative to other artists per country? Laleh is at position 285 in the world??? But she is just released in Sweden and Norway and currently doesn't want otherwise. How can this be? I guess: Place 1 in San Marino counts better than number 2 in UK? How much value is Loreens place 1 in Sweden on iTunes with respect on Spotify (and perhaps soon Dimest) if compared to the UK place 378. (Shit! Loreen is running the list as I'm writing this). What about bitrate issues in iTunes (CD buy or lossless quality). Edited March 21, 201213 yr by LalehForWD
March 21, 201213 yr In less than 7 weeks, Euphoria has become my most played song ever on iTunes :o Impossible to become even the slightest bit bored of it. Currently my 11th most played track on Last.fm with 124 plays, 5 scrobbles away from toppling Agnes' Release Me. Most heard Eurovision track too. And last night I showed Loreen's performance to my "musically purist" friends and reaction was that the chorus is very strong, with "euphoria" being a great word to use as such but the lyrics in the verses sound too pedantic, like she just learned how to speak English and she wanted to say what love is about. The backing track however is "awful, this is not music! Why is everyone doing this nowadays?". Loreen's contemporary dance moves were praised and branded as different while complementing the song. Bitches said that it's "good enough for Eurovision, I guess". I showed Danny's performance too for comparison and he was completely tore apart from the cheesy boyband moves to the 90s dance music "which no one does anywhere in the world!" (to which I had to reply, "erm David Guetta"), from the "ridiculous" staging and outfits to the "appaling" lyrics. Imagine if I'd shown them David Lindgren. Edited March 22, 201213 yr by MelodiVÜLKivalen
March 22, 201213 yr What exactly is a "musically purist"? Is that sort of like a music snob? Edited March 22, 201213 yr by Freeze
March 22, 201213 yr What exactly is a "musically purist"? Is that sort of like a music snob? Yes you could say that. Alternative Rock lovers or lyrically emotional music like Adele, Florence and so on. That's what they hear and believe to be "real music".
March 22, 201213 yr Gene Shmianna? I take it he liked Euphoria then? I must admire him to actually hear what the lyrics are about. I can just hear small pieces of it. Ensure he keep that rulebook safe. Imagine what will happen if it gets leaked on PirateBay - at least the very end of the Music Business as we know it. Edited March 22, 201213 yr by LalehForWD
March 22, 201213 yr :cheer: My Heart Is Refusing Me finally properly clicked with me this week, 57 weeks late I know, how embarrassing after the things I said about it last year  I've been listening to Sober a lot again too, but only the version with the sublime orchestral intro - I still don't think that that track deserved to landslide BJSC in the way that it did. I want the album to be more like Euphoria than Sober, which I still find a little airy in comparison to the other two, as nice as it is.
March 26, 201213 yr The final won't be at Globen next year, it'll be at the new Swedbank arena, which will have a capacity of up to 65,000! http://www.esctoday.com/news/read/18569
March 26, 201213 yr Oh :o Spanner in the works there! Certainly staying in the Globe Hotel would no longer be a priority! Also, that answers the obvious question of 'where will Eurovision be held next year if Sweden win'.
