Jesus, Molly looks at least ten years older than she is on that cover! Very... hard features.

*cries over lack of news on Loreen's album*

I've no idea where he heard this, but Tyron told me it'd be September.

If it's not out by the end of September, I think we should all ban Tyron for giving us false hopes.
I'll be giving Molly's album a listen! Nice to see Spread A Little Light on there! :wub:

Such an unnecessary delay considering it was finished months ago! Ideally, it should be released in mid-June. Let's hope she doesn't do a France 2011 then, or even worse an Anna Bergendahl, or we'll never get it!

One for Silas, released 23rd May;

Good god, who ever over photoshopped her face should be sacked/hung ASAP.

That aside, I am exceedingly excited to see that the Samma Himmel follow up finally has a release date/tracklisting/cover/name etc. Definitely one for the import list. Samma Himmel is the only non-English album I actually own and the first one I ever listened to. As excited as I am about this I do hope we get another Swedish release sometime though.

:huh:

Where else would it be? She was hardly going to re-release Samma Himmel with a random English track tacked on the end nor just leave it albumless.

My Hands Around My Heart and Mirage sound potentially awesome.

Am I the last person to find out about this or was it the best kept secret in Scandinavia? Released on May 16th!

Euphoria has now gone 5x platinum in Sweden for sales of over 100k, which is basically huge there. It has the following peaks across Europe so far;

Sweden - #1

Finland - #1

Lithuania - #3

Norway - #4

Israel - #4

Estonia - #6

Charted in five other countries way before the contest has actually started, this will only get bigger once she performs in front of 120 million people. I'm really not seeing how she won't landslide it? It may be blind optimism and looning on my part but you can't argue with the pre-contest buzz and hype surrounding this song, it's very comparable to that of Fairytale and Satellite. I just cannot see how anything else will manage to muster up enough momentum to overcome this juggernaut.

There's no doubt in my mind that she'll walk it. It's not like last year when it was wide open and realistically 5 or 6 countries could've won. The only threat to her really is Italy, especially if the juries go for it like they did last year.
I might just give up on Eurovision if she doesn't win, she's the most charismatic performer that will have graced the stage for years, and has a sensational song to boot! I'd love for this to be a platform to the international stage, rather than just making her a one hit wonder across the continent a la Rybak and Lena.
'Euphoria' came on in GAY at Heaven last night (London's biggest gay club). I didn't even request it. Everyone was going mental to it. Random gays were singing it outside. It was amazing. :heart:

That's approximately the equivalent of a million-seller here, isn't it? Which is outrageous considering it's only been out for three months there...

Is it your favourite yet David? It just seems SO you that I almost can't believe that it isn't landsliding your affections :o

Basically, and it still has plenty of life left in it in Sweden too you'd imagine!

I'm absolutely loving it now, and after seeing more of her live performances, I think she'll win Rybak style. I really can't choose now whether I prefer Loreen or Nina Zilli. Both fantastic songs, and I can't see past a Sweden-Italy top two.

I'm hoping for a Sweden - Italy Top 2 as well (I'd prefer Bosnia Herzegovina - Netherlands Top 2 though but that would never happen in any parallel universe, nevermind ours). The last time we had an incredible Top 2 was in 2007.
