Glee hardly makes an impact anymore does it? I remember when each episode would score 2-5 songs in the itunes top 40 sometimes. It's gone down in the ratings so much since it moved channels, expected really.

I think this is her new single. It's a very nice song.

Expected it to be this, especially after se said it as her favourite on the album. Still hasn't warmed up to it though, compared to all te other tracks on the album which I adore.

I'd love for where I sleep to be a single but I know it would flop :(.

Looks like next week could be an interesting chart battle. If Minaj releases the video for 'Starships', it could be a #1 contender alongside Gotye featuring Kimbra and Alexandra Burke featuring Erick Morillo. However, if it's released too late in the week, or not at all, and I'm overestimating how successful 'Elephant' will be, Gotye could well spend a fourth consecutive week at the top spot.
People underestimated Alexandra with 'Start Without You' and that rocked to number 1. I can see 'Elephant' doing quite well if it can get a head start on iTunes. Of course Alexandra is less relevant these days as she has been gone in what feels like years, could be interesting.

I think it'll be Gotye then. Alexandra's radio airplay has been too low for her to get #1 I think, and the odds of the Starships video being released in the next few days, I imagine, is quite low.

I know Elephant has been largely ignored by radio whereas Start Without You got massive support from all but Radio 1 (it was even an airplay #1 IIRC?) but I still think Elephant could be a #1 challenger somehow. It's her best song by far though - mainly for the instrumental, I could take or leave the vocals/autotune warbling :P - so I wouldn't mind TOO much if it does get to #1, but I'd much prefer to see Gotye there for a fifth week or Nicki climbing up there.

I know, but there are no other new releases to challenge it really. This week is the only remotely busy/interesting week I've seen in recent times.

Oh yeah, it was All Night Long I was thinking of. Start Without You definitely got pretty high as well though (certainly a LOT higher than Elephant).
