Almost as exciting as Ellie Goulding US iTunes updates. Almost.

 

I know that coming from me of all people, rolling eyes at updating the "progress" of something going ridiculously slow seems hypocritical but I do think they're different. My updates are daily, rather than every hour or so (and so I'm not exactly shoving her down your throats!) and is part of a multi-artist update in general. Also there is actually a point (that being, the song slowly crawling up the US charts) rather than Glee updates that are entirely pointless as there is no end game. There is no excitement about a Glee song rising to #179 because it's obvious it will fall again within like a day and it's the same routine week in, week out. I know there is very little excitement about Lights rising a couple of places (BUT DON'T FORGET JKAC!!!!1111) but it's just different in so many ways. And nobody EVER replies to the Glee updates. Ellie gets the OCCASIONAL non-jkac comment. So it's not entirely pointless to post.

I hate it when songs go up rapidly and I don't know why, but in this case I'm happy this has happened! Hope she gets another top 40 next week, if it holds up (I'll scream if it goes back to flucuating between 40-50 with the weekend effect :lol:)!

It sold 56k up to yesterday at midnight (i.e. after 5 days). The max it'll do is about 85k IMO.

It seems Guetta (x 2) and StooShe are swapping places quite frequently - just hoping with all this confusion that they still manage to pull ahead of Marcus Collins in terms of sales, 'Seven Nation Army' doesn't even deserve a top 10 status, but I guess #10 is the lowest it'll be come Sunday, so fingers crossed.
