Sorry for getting so behind with posting these updates again, it won't happen again (well, it probably will) :P

Anyone know why Fast Car is back in the chart (and has been for several days)? Is that Project X related as well?

I see Redlight has quietly sneaked back into the high 40s without me noticing :o

A chart run of 18-21-23-43-54-50 is actually really impressive for 'Get Out My Head' - once it left the top 40 I envisioned it tumbling pretty quickly out of track (see Taio Cruz & 'Troublemaker'). Nice to see it holding strong though (and actually climbing!) - one of the better dance tracks released in 2012 thus far.

I was looking at Capital's playlist, and it seems they've re-added Take Care. So maybe that's why it's climbed a bit recently?

They also have Charlie Brown, and We Are Young by fun. is already getting played by them. It's weird how they playlisted Gotye and now fun. before they were hits. It's unusual for Capital to do that for artists that haven't had a hit before, and for alternative styled songs, and Gotye and fun. fit into both categories! But both songs it was obvious way before they were released that they'd be huge.

I think it's a bit ridiculous that we still have no news on 'We Are Young' being released here (unless we have and it's passed me by). It's a guaranteed massive hit, it could be every bit as big as 'Somebody That I Used To Know' IMO. Imagine if those two ended up as the year end top 2 - what a turn up for the books :P 'We Are Young' is surely already the frontrunner to be year end #1 in the USA - on sales at least - and Gotye is only just beginning to make big waves over there.

I can very easily see that being the year-end top 2 in the US this year to be honest, especially given how their chart favours songs from the beginning of the year. Not sure about the UK though.

Something VERY strange has happened to Kworb

As far as I can tell it's ordered them in reverse order of their release date (as given on iTunes), hence all the really old songs at the very bottom and all tracks from the same album being grouped together. No idea what's gone wrong with the pop bar numbers though  There are a few deviations from that though e.g. Stooshe being lower than some of last week's releases.

The same thing seems to have happened for every country (but it's only a Kworb error AFAICT).

If only Demi Lovato actually WAS number 11 :(

I really am surprised at how well Tinchy and Pixie have held up so far. I still can't rule out a massive freefall starting soon (maybe the weekend effect could be the start) but for it to stay top 5 all week is impressive.

Dreading the weekend effect on Bad Girls.

That glitch thing has happened on Live Pop Bars aswell. Imagine if that happened on the actual iTunes and then all those songs in the top 10 started getting the top 10 effect. If that was real, it looks like StooShe would be getting the #1 this week.

Makes me realize how "old" The One That Got Away is aswell. It's good that Katy has moved on to newer songs now.

I'm also expecting Tinchy to go into free-fall any moment now. He's done so much better than I expected anyway.

If that was real, it looks like StooShe would be getting the #1 this week.

And Niggas In Paris getting #2 despite only being #77 and #78!

I'd imagine Sexy And I Know It and Domino are also ahead combined :P

That sub-title. If only... :P R U Mine? is no I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor though, is it? :P

I think you should remove the subtitle, the mistake has not happend on iTunes only on LivePopBars & Kworb.

If I gifted a song, does the sale still increase its iTunes peak and go towards the official charts?

Yes. Do tell what song you plan to gift.

All the Glee songs are in the top 20!

Now then, who was complaining that the Glee stuff never does anything interesting in the iTunes chart :)
