pre-BJSC7: JRK-off 75pts (BJSC5)

BJSC7-BJSC25: Espen 64pts (BJSC15)

BJSC26-BJSC32: no semis

BJSC33- : N-Lazone 56pts (BJSC37)

 

57 points is the highest DNQ since BJSC20 when UnoShake (Leighton Meester - Body Control) DNQed with 59 points

To think last month SF1 was led by 144 points compared to the 104 points this time round. I think it's probably safe to assume this months BJSC winner will be very lucky to collect anywhere near 200 points.

 

Like GD has posted, there isn't an obvious frontrunner meaning the final will be interesting but whether that means a slightly underwhelming winner? The type that wouldn't do well in TBO 2012, if TBO 2011 was anything to go off.

I think Freeze just felt like having more qualifiers than usual last contest, 14 is the norm AFAIK.

Because the last host wanted more people in the final. There isn't a set number of finalists. It varies between about 26 and 33.

It's the hosts discretion as to how many people there are in the final but 27-29 is the long term average and last month was the biggest final we've had with semi's. 14 is the typical number of qualifiers for a final of either 28 or 29 depending on if there is an AQ or not.

As the others have said, I looked back and saw that the norm of late was either 28 or 29.

 

I didn't want to extend over 30 as you get to a point where the semi finals become irrelevant.

I wasn't expecting to qualify. :o I knew SBTRKT had failed before (though I do think Pharaohs is so lush and his best work by far). If BJSC was in 1990 I would have been numba one just sayin ~*~*~ Couldn't find a winner this competition so I just picked something good.

 

Just glad Azari & III got through. Best song of the competition. Bummed about Desire though...Under Your Spell is so good. Anything on Italians Do It Better is.
