Is Conor Maynard that person affiliated with Jessie J who they're branding the "UK Justin Bieber"?

 

Well, I didn't know that he was but it'd explain why he's getting all this airplay on the music video channels. It's such an incredibly dull song though (it just doesn't really go anywhere). :(

 

I'm sure Eric Blob will love the song though. Sounds like the type of song (if you can call it a "song" :D ) he'd loon over.

Not pleased at them getting rid of The Black Keys but some good songs moved up onto the B and A Lists so I'll live :P

Bad Girls hasn't entered the Top.40 still even though it has peaked at like #27 on the Itunes Chart last week, I guess it's a combination of Capital FM and the other main hit stations not playing it <_< I guess they can't handle political songs that actually speak sense and that are not just about girls dancing and "hot boys in the club"! Also songs that are released straight after their first play instead of building up airplay tend to do badly 80% of the time :( so sad because it was an amazing song and video that deserved success and recognition. Hopefully her second single from the new album should do better if theres a longer gap between the premiere and release.

 

Maybe it will be like what happened with /\/\/\y/\, Born Free was released straight away (didnt make Top 40, but I guess that MTV would have definitly not shown that video!!) and then XXXO was released after a while of playing and did alright.

I'm pretty sure 'Bad Girls' is being criticised by some M.I.A. fans for NOT being political... :lol:

I am quite surprised they've now playlisted 'Elephant' when 'Long Night' and 'Start Without You' never did (not complaining about the latter though!)

Genuinely surprised about the Elephant addition. They probably added it because it looks like it was going to be a big hit without them though at least now it should have some longevity.

 

Also pleased Blue Jeans has moved up, I really want it to smash!

 

They haven't removed Talk That Talk from the playlist, so is that still going to be the single in the UK? :unsure:

I literally gave the gayest yelp ever when I saw Alexandra had been added to the Playlist and I ain't ashamed to say it!!

Yeah, I love it! :o I've been seeing that song popping up on "related videos" on Youtube for AGES now. But I never listened to it because I saw the screencap so always assumed it was like some mellow guitar song or something. :lol:

I can't see them not playlisting it. It's a clear massive hit imo, and it's not exactly ultra-generic.

Agreed. It's quite "cool" which is clearly going to get Radio 1 all wet.

'Can't Say No' could be a really big hit now it has R1 playlisting, seen the video around quite a lot and it's doing well on pre-orders on iTunes with some time sitll to go until release.

Hate when radio 1 stall obv hits in the blist for consecutive weeks when we all know 212 will hit the alist eventually.it just stalls its progress on itunes bit like Paris a few weeks ago!
