It really depends on how well it does in Eurovision, its quite difficult to predict at times, no doubt the cries will be heard worldwide from the BJ Eurovision forum if it does flop  if it wins with a massive lead as seems to be expected though, then I think it has a chance of top 20

oh and its pretty good too

If there was any justice in the world Loreen would be #1 for a whole 7 week (or more) run and 'Euphoria' would become 2012's 'Umbrella'.

Add to that a fair amount of wishful thinking and Capital Radio would playlist Danny Saucedo (along with Scott Mills' Floor Fillers) and give him the big Top 5 hit in this country that he needs. And let's face it, 'Amazing' is the Guetta sound but only done properly.

Hi william99. Welcome to the forum. What a cracking first post you have just made :P

Floptastic.

Top 75 (something about #49)

Top 40 on UK iTunes for 1 or 2 days...

Surely it would need to be top 40 for a bit more than two days, or go higher than just top 40, to stand a chance of getting to #49?

Much as I'd love this to be this #1, I just can't see it happening - even top 20 would be an achievement.
It has a lot of hype around it at the moment, so I think top 20 is possible as long as it does well in Eurovision. It sounds like a song that Capital would love, but with the Eurovision tag I can't see them playing it so it will drop fast.

Loreen!

This needs to stay at #1 for at least 18 weeks. :D

I've listened to this about 4 times now and really do not get the hype about it on this site, it just sounds like countless other generic female fronted pop/dance tracks to me and over all is a bit nothingy tbh. I find the chorus a bit tacky too. :/
I love it and think it's one of the best Eurovision songs in quite a while, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to go and do big things in the UK. Radio 1 and Capital wouldn't touch it with a bargepole!

I'd certainly say it's a cut above most of the similar songs around there but it's really not that good, it's certainly nothing special at all!

I think the studio version is good, but it's this live performance which seals the deal for me. It's just EPIC! The vocal in the chorus is completely immense, and some of her dance moves are just crazy genius.

To the four people who think this will miss the iTunes top 300 - really? Given most of the big Eurovision entries tend to make it in and this is the hot favourite to win...

Indeed, the more chart friendly songs tend to do well on iTunes regardless of their Eurovision placing anyway. Didn't Je Ne Sais Quoi linger around the top 75 for a few days in 2010 despite failing in the final? And in 2009 Lose Control by Waldo's People came dead last and officially charted at #100 in the UK (much higher on iTunes). Even if it all goes wrong for Loreen I'm confident that she'll bag herself an official top 100 hit

Considering this has already gone to number one in Finland, pretty much through word of mouth, I think it's fair to say this is going to become a major European hit.

I support Dandy's post. Far too overrated. What is so special about this song makes it hard for me to understand. Is it for the instrumental? But that can't be the case as it sounds the same as any dance instrumental pop song there is. Is it the vocals or catchiness? I don't find the song itself highlights her vocals much nor is it THAT catchy.

I'm just a minority so who cares what I think here

What are you on about Oricon? The vocals are if anything the big selling point of the song!
