March 18, 201213 yr YES YES YES! How the boys managed to turn this era around with 'Niggas in Paris' I'll never know, but something about the track seems to have just clicked with everyone. Thrilled to see it gain top 10 status, even if for a week.

March 18, 201213 yr Thrilled that 'Niggas In Paris' has made the top 10. The whole Watch The Throne album was too good to have no big hits from it, so I am glad NIP has done that for them. If they release 'Lift Off' or 'Who Gon' Stop Me' next, then I think they could keep the ball rolling.

Thrilled to see it gain top 10 status, even if for a week. Calling them "the boys" makes it seem like you're talking about JLS or One Direction or something. But I agree. It got to #5 in the US last year before without a music video, and not so high radio airplay aswell. The song is just that good I suppose. Edited March 18, 201213 yr by Eric_Blob

March 18, 201213 yr Yay! Amazing that Niggas In Paris got top 10. But I can't not be mad at M.I.A. Can't believe Bad Girls missed out! :(
March 18, 201213 yr I predict for the top 10: 1. Gotye 2. Nicki Minaj 3. Emeli Sande 4. Flo Rida 5. Alexandra Burke 6. David Guetta 7. David Guetta 8. DJ Fresh 9. Stooshe 10. Jay-Z/Kanye West - Still can't believe this I'm probably way wrong, but whatever.
March 18, 201213 yr Not sure why so many people are so shocked at Jay-Z and Kanye (of all people) scoring a top ten hit, but whatever. Hard to tell where Elephant has charted, likely either No.2/3, i'd be pretty surprised if its dropped down to No.5!

March 18, 201213 yr Just giving 7 points in this week's Hate Chart thread then. Horrendous music! <_<
March 18, 201213 yr Not sure why so many people are so shocked at Jay-Z and Kanye (of all people) scoring a top ten hit, but whatever. Have you not heard the song? It wouldn't be surprising if they were rapping on a beat like Bright Lights or International Love, but this song is very un-chart friendly imo.
March 18, 201213 yr Only downside to this being top 10 is we have to hear the live version which isn't quite as good as the studio version. Still. Insert copious quantities of :w00t:
March 18, 201213 yr The only bad thing about this being top 10, is we have to listen to Kanye in the live version. I love him and the song, but not in this live version, he sounds horrible
March 18, 201213 yr I still despise the Kaye West bit of this. The Jay-Z bits are ok. They're both amazing but Kanye's bits are better IMO. Randomly into the studio version for the last bit? Hm. Edited March 18, 201213 yr by Bréyhound
March 18, 201213 yr because the N word is a racist one Lots of songs have that word in. I think even You Da One uses it. It's just that it's not chart-friendly, and their previous single flopped massively (I think it missed the top 75 :(). At least that's why I'm surprised anyway.
