It's "Better Off Dead" that you're thinking of, "Bring 'Em Down" was only released on Sunday.

Ah, they have pretty much the same initialism so I'm sure you can understand my confusion somewhat

No reaction to it finally going top 100? I thought you'd be quite pleased about that.

I'd much rather listen to last years run of number 1's. 'What's My Name?', 'Grenade', 'We R Who We R', 'Price Tag', 'Someone Like You' and'Don't Hold Your Breath' over this years run of 'Paradise', 'Good Feeling', 'Domino', 'Twilight', 'Titanium', 'Somebody That I Used To Know', 'Hot Right Now' and 'Part Of Me'...

I'd rank them as something like...

FAVOURITE:

01| 'Price Tag'

02| 'What's My Name?'

03| 'Twilight'

04| 'Someone Like You'

05| 'Titanium'

06| 'Domino'

07| 'Don't Hold Your Breath'

08| 'Grenade'

09| 'Part Of Me'

10| 'Paradise'

11| 'Hot Right Now'

12| 'Good Feeling'

13| 'We R Who We R'

14| 'Somebody That I Used To Know'

LEAST FAVOURITE

The top 5 are all excellent though. 6-8 are good, but now boring. 'Part Of Me' is decent-ish. 'Paradise' is practically my favourite Coldplay song, by default. (Well 2nd, behind 'Princess Of China'). 11-13 are average and 'Somebody That I Used To Know' is just terrible and overrated.

Grenade and We R Who We R were horrible, Don't Hold Your Breath was OK at the time but got old. The other three from last year are good though (What's My Name? was at one stage my favourite #1 since Viva La Vida, but I later decided I preferred I'm Not Alone to it and now Paradise is my favourite #1 since VLV :kink:)

For this year I love all of them except Cover Drive and after this week Chris Brown. All the rest have gone top 20 in my personal chart at least and most of them top 10. So on the whole I'd say 2012 is better than 2011 was at this stage (although this is of course only taking into account the #1s).

Wild Ones  to #6

iLL Manors  to #7

Let the free falling commence. :( Can't see this spending more than four weeks in the top 40 now.

Plan B falling already? Boo :(

I'm more concerned with the fate of the album now, in this sales climate another top 3 should have been a breeze but with Nicki Minaj and Labrinth out next week top 5 would be an achievement.

Starships  #3

Part of Me  #4

I still have Plan B at #6

Proud  #20

The Swarm  #21 - Doing the usual rise, slight dip, then rise again for an oa/os song.

Take Care  #29 - I need the video to this, and i need it to be as sultry/sexy as the song!

I don't get where its promotion is coming from though other than Radio 1?

It's used on the Thorpe Park advert aswell! Although I'm not sure how often its on.

I can't believe Sean Paul has reduced a 10% gap already and it's only Tuesday. I think the gap will be reduced to to around 80% tomorrow, before going to number one on Friday. Sean Paul or Nicki Minaj for number one then next week :o

Both of the fake versions of 'Boyfriend' are now out of the top 100 :D But there's now a fake 'Call Me Maybe' at #80.

87. Don't Go - Rae Morris

Apparently used on Skins according to a quick Google. Interesting.

'Chasing Cars' back down to #107. Dead again... for a while at least.

Ummm, anyway....

131. We Are Young - We Are Young Singers

Pretty sure this was down in the 500s last night...surely they're not gonna go ahead with the May release now?!

EDIT:  to 105 now!

Fake 'Call Me Maybe's - I estimate they'll cost the real version something like 8-9k sales this week! That's assuming people who buy the fakes, don't buy the real one too.

Turn Me On  #11

Niggas in Paris  #12

Take Care  #27

Mamma Knows Best most likely won't make the top 40 this week. It's a shame as its one of the stand out tracks, on an otherwise average album :(

Call Me Maybe fakes are now #67 and #68  and We Are Young fake is  #103

Oh well - the higher the fakes get, the more likely they are to force the 'premature' release of the real ones. :)

Part Of Me  to #4 but it is also at #39. So i'm guessing still top 3?

If You Wanna  #32 (59p) Vaccines really benefit when they make this reduced, they've done so a few times now.

Set Fire To The Rain  #48

38. Everbody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) (Edit) - Baz Luhrmann

^ LOL

96. Shining Star (Joe Goddard Remix) - Nneka

99. We Are Young - We Are Young Singers

106. New Age - Marlon Roudette :o

432. No Love - Hooray For Earth :D

I'm hoping that with Plan B charting in the top 40 this week, the video will now be played on music channels (as part of the UK Top 40 Shows, at least). I'm not even sure if they're allowed to play it though? I haven't seen it ONCE.

I just love How Alexandra's single Elephant has been out a week longer than JLS new singe, yet she is higher than them on itunes.

How many weeks do you guys reckon Elephant will stay in the top 40? I predicted that it would be out of the top 40 after 3 weeks. How wrong was I??? :o

 Well its #18 on its 3rd week, so maybe 6 weeks top 40?

Proud  #21 in its 2nd week, both songs really underperforming..

How long has Titanium, Somebody That I Used To Know, Wild Ones & Next To Me been top 10 now? It feels like absolutely ages for all of them, massive!

I'm pretty sure Proud is getting much more airplay too, and it had a load of promo last week, and it's for charity. :o

The thing was that this was Alexandra's return single though unlike Jls, who seem to be releasing songs every 4months. I fully believe Proud will manage top 40 for the next two weeks before plummeting out.

Quite frightning how huge Conor Maynard - Can't Say No is going to be, it seems to be everywhere and is high on pre-orders.

20. Jls - Proud

41. Alexandra Burke - Elephant

More frightning than anyone liking it in the first place, you mean?
