Oh, I see. :lol: I thought it would go top 10 too, at the time. I was hearing it on Radio 1 for months beforehand just as an instrumental track called "Bromance". It took me ages to get used to it with the vocals, especially since it's not at all the melody you'd have expected on that instrumental (it probably seems normal if you heard it for the first time with the vocals, but if you didn't it was really weird lol).

 

To be fair, Avicii has had two top 10 hits anyway since he has Collide.

It would be annoying if it was like that Lena song which got added really late for download, which I think could've gone top 10 otherwise.

One of my local radio stations did a poll where we had to vote for our favourite song of all-time and Chasing Cars won (but Someone Like You and Mr. Brightside made the top 40).

I don't know. I was actually really surprised at how few songs some of them had, so I thought I'd post them. :lol:

 

But seriously, you'd think people like Britney Spears would have like ONE song in there, especially when you consider that songs like Candy Shop manage to be top 1000 staples, and Britney (and a lot of those other artists I listed) has all those classics. And like Madonna is about to release a new album, and only Like a Prayer and her current single are in the top 1000. I found that surprising. Eminem can get album tracks from over a decade ago in the top 1000, yet Hung Up, Toxic, Genie in a Bottle, etc. aren't in there, and rarely are when I check tbh.

 

Loads of rock/alternative songs from that time period are also top 1000 staples aswell.

 

Also, apparently the video to Take Care by Drake is going to be released today. I hope it can re-enter the top 40, and Tyga can stay there, then I think we'll have 4 artists from Lil Wayne's label in the top 40 at the same time (as lead artists)!! It almost happened last week, but Drake was #41. :drama:
