Keep climbing!!! Would've thought 'I Will Always Love You' would've been highest but it's 3rd highest!

Rizzle Kicks // Traveller's Chant  67

Really climbed over the past 24 hours or so - should go top 75 this week (hopefully) :)

They were on Radio 1 (Chris Moyles) this morning - so much like David Guetta yesterday, they likely played the track's instrumental during the chat and played the song once or twice. The amount of airplay 'Titanium' must've gotten on Monday - they played it twice, played a spoof, made fun of the instrumental and had it playing in the background before talking about how it came about - no wonder it's climbed on iTunes.

As for the track itself, I'm not a big fan - they've gone downhill since 'Down With the Trumpets' - 'When I Was a Youngster' was just horrendous, though 'Mama Do The Hump' helped redeem themselves a little bit, but I still wasn't a big fan of it.

I love those latter two songs, but I could never really listen to Birdy or Taylor Swift. They're just too "sickly sweet" for me, and don't really get the adrenaline pumping for me like Niggas in Paris and T.H.E. do.

I was listening to Radio 1 today, and Chris Moyles went on a massive rant about how much he hates Usher's new song, and how it's boring and he was making fun of all the sound effects in it and stuff. He really annoyed me tbh. I would LOVE Climax to go to #1 so he has another meltdown like when Start Without You went to #1.

Music without emotions is just noise. T.H.E is a commercial song without any reason. Taylor Swift write her own songs that they are small stories. Of course, it doesn't mean that everyone must love her. But her music is much better than your latter two songs. At least, audience recognize her talent and she has won multiple prizes!! Niggas in Paris and T.H.E maybe take the "music razzies"..

Irreverence, anxiety, urgency, braggadocio, confidence. They're all emotions and they're all in "Niggas In Paris" - and your point about awards is a little moot given the critical acclaim received by both artists involved.

Ahh remember the days when a Glee song missing the top 30 was a flop. Biggest fad ever.

Wonder when the UK will be treated to the second Minaj single, 'Right by My Side' featuring Chris Brown - has been released today over in the US.

I was under the impression that 'Roman Reloaded' with Lil Wayne would be the second single, but I think going with Brown has more dance/pop appeal - something she needs to stick with before the album drops. So three promotional singles, two actual singles and another unconfirmed-what-it-is single to come - 6 tracks and we'll still have 16 more to look forward on April 2.

There is also Roman Holiday that she performed at the Grammys (you might have already meant this, in which case I have become sincerely confused  )

Niggas In Paris is very highly critically acclaimed is it not? T.H.E (The Hardest Ever) maybe not so much.

Yep, but then they had to go and screw things up by moving it to Thursday's and broadcasting it on sky1 as opposed to e4 -.-

:kink:

Niggas in Paris had quite a dividing reception from the public when the album first dropped (I remember reading blogs about how tacky people thought the beat was, and how stupid some of the lyrics were, etc.), but pretty much since it became a single in the US last year everybody (not literally) has loved it. The whole album has been very critically acclaimed, although pretty much everything Kanye is involved in is.

T.H.E has also been very dividing, but most people seem to hate it, even now. I like it though, but it's not close to being will.i.am's best production. The "bendy synths" in it do sound good, but I think they pale in comparison to Labrinth's ones in Earthquake, for example.

You copy me..Be original please..I'm not famous. Luckily that everyone hasn't the same point of views with you. Taylor Swift is popular almost everywhere. Many people recognize her talent. She plays guitar. She writes her own lyrics too. Do you play guitar..? Do you write your own songs..? I think you're not... So, don't judge artists like a baby..

You're not famous? Shocking. I think you'll find Jay Z and Kanye write their own lyrics and will.i.am produces his songs. Do you write your own songs..? Do you produce your own songs..? I THINK NOT. So, don't judge artists "like a baby" (?!) please.

You just copied me again. I didn't blame Jay Z and Will I am. I regard them very talented artists in their music. Black-Eyed Peas is one of my favourite groups. I think that their new songs are horrendous. You blame Taylor Swift and Birdy totally, not a song from them. So, read something before you prepare your answer..
Yes because my original post was not in the slightest bit IRONIC in the first place. Look there are these things called opinions you know. They're like... totally retro and stuff. But they're cool.
