:heehee: Edit ^_^ :drink: Oh David :( Hey uk

That's a whole load of flashbacks to a simpler time right there.

I can confirm that you may or may not be fairly high.

As if it's like...nearly six years ago since we used to OWN the Lounge. And almost four years since I stepped down as Lounge mod I believe! Alas, now I just come back for the Eurovision. :(

The question: do the Sub-Forums posts count (New Members, Teams) or not? The teams thing might influence the whole picture quite a bit for sure.

I really have no clue who's going to be on top, as I missed the first two BJ years ENTIRELY, and as far as I know, the first year was a banger posting-wise.

I don't know if I'm in this or not. I'm now in the top-150 of all-time posters (#147 to be precise :kink: ), but my posts are concentrated in several forums, including the Lounge. I think if Teams are included in overall post count I'm most probably in, if not - then I'm out.

I think it just counts the Lounge, and not the sub-forums!
I do not think I'll be in this and if I am it'll be VERY low down.

RIGHT. Let us begin.

You need a minimum of 1310 posts to get into the list, so if you're waiting to appear but have only just hit 900 the chances of you beating Tirrun in a photo finish are UNLIKELY.

100-91

100. Mikal 1310 (13.1% of total posts)

Propping up the list at the very bottom is Mikal (also known as Michael, his real name, but that username was rejected by the Buzzjack public and he was forced to return to the original.) Probably most famous for the Mikal-Jack-Simon clique, a trio of fairly regular Lounge posters who each moderated the AF of a floundering female popstar and went onto much better, and gayer, things. He can now be found being smug and taken at an SU near you (maybe.)

99. Mattias 1327 (48.7%)

As I said in the first post, my commentary will be limited and questionable and I am afraid I do not know a lot about little Mattias here - but he triumphs Mikal by a mere 17 posts. It is however interesting to note that Mattias has posted just 2,726 times - making his relative contribution to the Lounge ENORMOUS. He must like it here.

98. Juranamo 1356 (27.9%)

Juranamo is Lord and Master of Juranabaijan, currently revealing the results of the RedOne rate HERE and PROBABLY the only member of Buzzjack in a civil partnership (whilst the majority of Buzzjack weep for that one time their crush glanced their way, and regularly caress the Celeb Crushes thread whilst using their tears as lube.)

97. GRIMLY FIENDISH 1370 (7.4%)

From one Lord and Master, to an OVERLORD. Grimly rules Perspectives with an iron fist (but don't you DARE compare him to fukkin Maggie Thatcher.) Head to his forum for limited discussion which results in anything you say being barked down and crushed by somebody who refuses to listen to reason, and who has a mild forum of tourettes. Not surprisingly, Grimly is not a frequent visitor to the Lounge - although he does pop in on the odd occasion with something he thinks would educate the masses.

96. dannjohn3 1384 (10.2%)

There are too many Dans on this site so I apologise if I get this wrong, but I THINK this is the Dan who started out as an overzealous, illiterate spam-fiend who posted a number of photos in the gallery and gradually transformed into what we have today. I'm guessing most of his Lounge posts were from his old days because these days he's much more at home shouting down people who don't worship his favourite female popstar and making sly digs in the Pop forum.

95. nickthenoodle 1430 (19.7%)

Currently known as 'xxxxxx' (a contender for Best Username 2012, SURELY?) Nick seems to reside mainly in the Eurovision and TV forums these days, and that's all I know.

94. Nightcrawler 1482 (35.9%)

Perry was a former Personal Charts moderator and Harry Potter nut who was a friend to all. He grew up and became a teacher and now only lowers himself to pop in once or twice a year (usually when his name is mentioned, so watch this space.)

93. Jupiter9 1483 (3.7%)

Jupiter9 (or Jups to her friends) is an institution of the Robbie Williams forum and despite being fairly well-known by posters outside of it, is strangely the lowest of a number of Robbie posters in this list. (Robbie posters have long had a reluctance to join discussion outside of their own forums, hence why out of 40,000 Jupiter posts, only 1,483 are in the Lounge.) She also moderates the U2 forum, and feeds Mikey treats when he pops in from time to time.

92. Charis 1490 (32.2%)

If you think any of the iLoons are bad, it is time for you to meet CHARIS. The most overzealous superfan you could ever have the misfortune to meet, and somewhat mentally ill too because his band of choice to loon over was none other than WESTLIFE. The majority of his posts in the Lounge were either trying to turn topics about the weather or favourite flavour ice lolly into discussions about Westlife, or advertising songs from his album - including the classic 'I Wish I Was Gay.'

91. Mayte 1506 (5.7%)

The second Robbie poster to appear, Mayte (according to her profile) loves listening to music and downloading and collecting the videos about her favourite artists. She is a VIDEO RARITIES COLLECTOR. She is a huge fan of The Killers and most recently set up a 'Pavel Appreciation Thread' for some reason.

MAYTE! :cheer:

It was probably the BJBB thread and I was a participant at that time. (DAMN YOU CASEY btw )

I have a feeling I could feature, the majority of my 5,000+ posts were in the Lounge in my idiotic days. Irrelevant posts.

Ooh, that's a high threshold. That's me out then, I doubt a whole 1/3rd of my posts have been in here, and when that's 1,500+...

But then again, I can't think where else they would have all gone...

I'm really loving the commentary on these, actually. Concise and to the point, at least lower down. :D

well, I've posted over 13,000 times and only really use Lounge & Chart forums regularly, so I guess I could still feature (that said, quite a hefty chunk of those are from the chart forum I'd imagine  )

Edited by C.W

If 1,500 is the barrier for entry there's no way I'm not making the top100. I probably posted that much during BJBB alone!
I'm interested to see where I'll be, I use the Lounge a lot but I'm pretty sure over a third of my 55k+ posts have been in the personal charts forum  A good chunk also in Eurovision, Chart Chat and BJSC so I'm not sure what's left for the Lounge.

Me too. In 1.5 weeks

Doing this is such a HORRIFIC test of memory.

Thanks for all the commentage so far. We shall continue.

90-81

90. Jonny 1526 (14.1% of total posts)

Fairly quiet of late but still trying to fly that Editorial flag is Jonny, one of many Johns that have passed through Buzzjack over the past six years (meaning I am BOUND to slip up somewhere.) A bit of an Indie kid with a soft spot for a lot of mainstream shizniz, Jonny is another member who has transformed from an annoying pre-teen who can't spell to a funny teen who CAN, and he's all the better for it.

89. Hayzayy/Bertie 1535 (12.5%)

Probably most famous for threatening to stab somebody in the head, French Bertie was at one point the site's biggest Girls Aloud fan and took it upon himself to defend them against their many critics. Fortunately the arrival of fellow loons such as THEO meant he has come to pass that baton on, mellow down and is these days much less likely to commit assault (unlike his favourite popstar.)

88. John Esteban 1559 (10.2%)

John was everybody's favourite Colombian, who mysteriously vanished from the site in 2008. Still, he made enough of his 15k+ posts in the Lounge to make 88th. I think he may have been a fan of something and liked making graphics? Four years is a VERY long time.

87. TeresaBloom 1605 (25.6%)

Talking of graphics, Portuguese Lord of the Rings fan (and Donna Windsor lookalike) Teresa was the bee-knees and probably still has a lot of the banners she made in use on the site today. She vanished for a long time before making a brief return in 2010, but let it be known that everybody liked her because she was NICE. We held a 'Create your own emoticon' competition which she won and :teresa: (note the shortcut) has been used barely at all since.

86. Johnkm 1628 (22.2%)

It goes to show how OLD I am when I think of somebody who joined in 2010 as a "new member." John has much banter with Jark and Tirrun, leading them to become nominated for the Clique award in some year or another and making some believe that the three of them are conjoined - perhaps resulting in John's fleeing to the Pop forum, where he is mod.

85. Mushymanrob 1649 (10%)

Believe it or not, Mushymanrob was moderator of the Lounge when the site first started in 2006, which I expect was when he made 95% of these posts. God knows who made that AWFUL decision to make him Lounge mod because he routinely sucked the life out of all that was enjoyable and refused to engage in popularity contests (which everybody knows are the backbone of our trivial, shallow community.) He famously left in a strop over something petty. It is also worth noting that his girlfriend and son were both members too (perhaps more to come from them later.)

84. Frank! 1670 (7.9%)

Anastacia fan! Pink fan! Former Anastacia mod! He has a username that makes you want to punch him.

83. De Niro/Scotty 1671 (4.9%)

Scotty was the Irish leader of the Robbie forum and the only man amongst a bevvy of wild women. Just what a seemingly normal chap like Scotty had in common with a group of women who spend most of their days discussing the colour of Robbie's underwear remains to be seen, but he was perhaps the ONLY Robbie fan to 'make a name for himself' outside of the forum. Sadly, despite the Robbie posters being very close and friendly, Scotty hasn't been heard from since January 2011.

82. Tom Kay 1727 (4.6%)

Tom Kay is a Chart and BJSC nut. You'll find him during the week furiously preparing the Chart thread for a Sunday, and on Sundays furiously revealing it.

81. *Ben* 1736 (4%)

Ben is Chart mod extraordinaire, former Global Mod and has posted over 43,000 times - yet appears only 81st on this list.

No idea where I'll be in this, the vast majority of my posts are in the chart forum of course but I do post in the Lounge quite a bit so I'm sure I'll at least have the 1.5k necessary to feature. Would only need a bit over 1 in 20 of my posts to be in the Lounge.

EDIT: Or more than that :P

I do love how Bertie's major claim to fame is STILL that threat of stabbing someone (Chris I think?) in the head all the way back in November/December 2009...

Weren't his girlfriend and son about the SAME AGE?!
