The weekly reminder for Bre, when you get a minute, ta.
Have to agree! Though Reggie seems to have improved recently - maybe that's down to the new format with the online bit!

It probably seems like Reggie has improved since he has little time to talk in the first 2 hours of the show now.

This hasn't done very well has it :( I hope their next single does better.

What's with you today people! Please don't spoil any positions in this thread, otherwise you ruin the fun of the members who want to follow the chart here ;)
I deeply apologize! But I saw it unawares and gone bonkers!
I don't mind that JLS track, but I really think that their time is over!
we have a generalisation where things might end up, but yes i agree dont spoil it !!!

Predictions are OK. but actual, "known" positions that haven't been revealed yet are not allowed to be posted before Radio 1 presents them. ;)

It makes sense that JLS wrote 'Proud' themselves.

Because it's appalling?

Anyone else think it sounds like No One by Alicia Keys?

Either way #6 is pretty embarrasing for a charity single from what is now the UK's third biggest boyband :kink:

I deeply apologize! But I saw it unawares and gone bonkers!

It's OK now ;)

its harsh to call a charity song a failure, but this really hasn't done well at all has it? :o hopefully, the continuous decreasing of peaks will tell them its time to call it a day for now at least

Edited by C.W

Anyone else think it sounds like No One by Alicia Keys?

Yes, in the chorus is sounds a lot like No One (which automatically makes the song not bad imo ).

Turning Tables (Live)

'21' is the second album from singer-songwriter Adele, and like her first record, 2008's '19', it is named after the age Adele was when she wrote the album. Most of '21' was produced by Rick Rubin, who has worked with some of the biggest acts of the last 20 years, and Florence & The Machine producer Paul Epworth. Lyrically the album reflects Adele's increased maturity since '19', although it explores many of the same themes.

Paradise

Coldplay began working on Mylo Xyloto in 2009, while the band was still in the midst of its multi-year tour in support of Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. Recording sessions stretched from 2009 to 2011, with Brian Eno collaborating with the band on several songs and R&B singer Rihanna lending her vocals to “Princes of China.” Markus Dravs, Daniel Green, and Rik Simpson all shared production credits, too, resulting in a diverse album inspired by industrial rock and electro-pop. Coldplay began debuting the new tracks as early as May 2011, with “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall” kicking off a string of anthemic singles.

Touted as his "angriest" album in years, Wrecking Ball finds Bruce Springsteen breaking away from Brendan O'Brien and working with Ron Aniello, a producer best-known for his modern rock records. This isn't the only new name in Springsteen's orbit: Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello and Soundgarden/Pearl Jam drummer Matt Chamberlain appear alongside members of the E-Street Band and Willie Nile, giving Wrecking Ball an unexpected diversity that mirrors Bruce's highly-charged socially-aware songs - HMV

I don't mind that JLS track, but I really think that their time is over!

I dont think its over - sure they seem to be past their peak - however plenty of pop acts release stuff and it doesn't go straight to the top. Their album sales too are in decline - however they're still selling more than the Sats and the Wanted and quite a few pop acts.

Album Discussion Here

Because it's appalling?

Anyone else think it sounds like No One by Alicia Keys?

Either way #6 is pretty embarrasing for a charity single from what is now the UK's third biggest boyband :kink:

You got it in one. ^_^

It's embarrassing how they are seen as the third-biggest British boyband now, despite them actually bringing the "boyband" back to the charts.

I don't like this edited version :(
