I miss 2005 so much. :( Mainly for the music, it's so good.

Right in the middle of my senior school years. :D Really doesn't seem that long ago at all...

Yes for Conor! :w00t: In the week of my birthday, he will be UK number 1.

Boring songs been added.

2005 is my least favorite year for music since I first got interested in it back in the early 90s. I think 2005-2008 was an awful period tbh.

Alexandra remained an amazing 2 weeks on the playlist

R.I.P. is surely the sort of song that would ONLY work in the UK?

Well it's written by Drake, if they swapped out Tinie for a generic American rent-a-rapper it could probably do a Russian Roulette.

^ Russian Roulette did quite poorly in the US though (or is that what you meant?).

They love Drake over there even more than they do here (I know that's difficult to imagine ), so maybe it could be a hit there.

Which year did you finish senior school?

Great to see Greyhound and Climax alisted but why oh why do they not want to alist 212? Its up to 13 on itunes without it, same goes for disperate youth?!

Also great to see new entries from childish gambino, a surprising addition for nnenka after its release and flux pavillion in there.

Also the alabama shakes getting main playlist plays!!

That 2005 playlist is nowhere near as good as I imagined it being...

I guess that's because it coincided with the first year I really used the internet rather than radio to discover music.

These are the only ones I really like and still listen to:

A-List

Basement Jaxx - Oh My Gosh

Kasabian - Club Foot

Stereophonics - Dakota

B-List

Bloc Party - Banquet

Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.

C-List

* The Chemical Brothers - Believe

Studio B and Bodyrockers were two of the worst dance songs ever. :puke:

MILES !!! V. Pleased

Good adds all round including Foster The People and Pulled Apart By Horses

Feel a bit sorry for Alexandra

I hope that they might boost Dry The River up aswell

2005 was the worst year for dance music, quality wise, and in the charts.

I agree, and one of my favourites of that year, Little Love by Lil' Love, barely scraped into the top 40 :( I thought it would be a huge summer smash when I first heard it!
