Posted March 30, 201213 yr taken from the current discussion going on in the monthly lounge discussion thread. did any of you used to love watching cartoons as a child? do you still enjoy watching them now? I for one do. :P although they're not as wonderful as they used to be, particularly the ones that are shown on cartoon network late at night. courage the cowardly dog being my favourite.
March 30, 201213 yr Thoughts on Danny Phantom? I just remembered that and I used to love it. Edited March 30, 201213 yr by Umi
March 30, 201213 yr Author I didn't actually watch that but I've seen fan art from it in quite a few places, I think the creater of that and the fairly oddparents are the same. I did watch that though, and still do whenever I get back early from college.
March 30, 201213 yr Fairly Odd Parents was AMAZING. I'm just looking through all the cartoons Nick broadcasted and I'd forgotten Jimmy Neutron too. That was great! I need to go through Cartoon Network now.
March 30, 201213 yr My younger 16 year old brother still watches Fairly Odd Parents :kink: I loved it too though, just so lovably bizarre! as was Spongebob Squarepants Edited March 30, 201213 yr by C.W
March 30, 201213 yr I'm a massive cartoon fan, both vintage and 90's. Cow and Chicken has to be my favourite though, been rewatching a lot recently. (f***ing mental for a kids cartoon). i feel i should also mention as I type this I have SPACE JAM on.
March 30, 201213 yr Hanna-Barbera is where it's at. I don't find the modern cartoons to be as good or anywhere near as funny as the likes of the original Tom & Jerry, Wacky Races, Scooby Doo etc.
March 30, 201213 yr I used to love Tom and Jerry. I always wanted tom to win though, and he never did :(
March 30, 201213 yr OH MY GOD just remembered that Powerpuff Girls were AMAZING. YES, I loved them back when and watched the movie a few months ago to see if it was as good as I remember. IT WAS *.* Dexter's Lab, The Wild Thornberry's, Oscar's Orchestra (does anyone remember this other than me?), Tom & Jerry, Wacky Races, Loony Tunes and Catch That Pigeon are all Johnkm faves. I love how in most of the original Scooby Doo's the evil witch or whatever was exactly the same, just with different colours and you just KNOW the bad guy would be the most forthcoming to help.
March 30, 201213 yr THIS THREAD = MEMORIES. Powerpuff Girls, Pokemon, Rugrats, Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents are the ultimate, I actually still watch the new Pokemon, even if it's not a patch on the original lot anymore. I could just watch Spongebob and FOP all day
