WDYTMF? was a grower for me. Wasn't at all fussed on first listen, but I love it now!

What Do You Take Me For is Pixie's only >6/10 moment bar 7/10 Boys and Girls and 7/10 Here We Go Again. But what moment! I love WDYTMF, I'd like more Pixie like that, proper 10/10.

Couldn't you have just said her only 8/10+ song or am I missing something? Well I suppose it was an opportunity to show your likings of BAG and HWGA

*waits for someone to complain that there's discussion of Pixie Lott*

When Justin is out tonight, I reckon it will have a really quick start (with the Twitter explosion of excitement, I bet all the 'Beliebers' will stay up and download it ASAP ), so it could actually get #2 if it's not frontloaded, which it may not be as it appeals to a wider audience than other single he's done - although obviously Carly has too big a lead still for him to overcome I'd imagine.

Yeah, I can't see Justin Bieber getting #1.

I think it'll be funny if fun. released this week and blocked Justin from #1 like they did in the US. All the beliebers must really hate We Are Young now.

Are we all forgetting 'Climax' is released tomorrow? Surely that's going to prevent Bieber? If fun. release this week though, then that will trounce both Usher and Justin. No contest. Carly will still sell well too (80k second week at least). I don't think she'll drop quite as much as people think she will.

Poor Justin though. Imagine being beaten by his mentor and his "discovery" (who'll be on her second week!).

Funny how Usher discovered Justin Bieber who discovered Carly Rae Jepsen and the top 3 could possibly look like

1 - Carly Rae

2 - Justin

3 - Usher

That could put people off discovering new artists  but on a more serious note, Usher must be rolling in American money for his discovery. :P

Well, it was!!! :P BAG and HWGA were really decent. I remember how one of my friends insisted that 'Here We Go Again' is actually Gaga's (!) song.

I think the top 5 will go:

1. Carly Rae Jepsen

2. Usher

3. Nicki Minaj (video premiere boost)

4. Justin Bieber

5. Sean Paul

I can't see Justin going #1 as some people think, he just doesn't have a massive UK fanbase to the extent he does elsewhere. Plus 'Boyfriend' has only managed to get to #9 in Ireland, and 'Mistletoe' actually peaked higher in Ireland than in the UK, so I don't think his UK fanbase in much bigger than in Ireland.

 36. Mercy (feat. Big Sean, Pusha T, 2 Chainz) - Kanye West

:cheer: I really hope this can hold up well enough during the week to go top 40 officially but it's not very likely.

Mercy  #35

Lady Godiva  #52 - I'm guessing his fans are buying another copy(s) to secure a good position this week?

Beez In The Trap #703 - surprisingly low for a song with a video and some radio 1 airplay. Still love it though.

Just Dance  #177

I can't believe Beez in the Trap is so low already. It's amazing. Hopefully the music video can stop it dropping out the top 1000. :drama:
Beez In The Trap is the best song on the rap side of her album imo, it's quite 'gritty' and what the Nicki rap fans want, but the chorus is SO catchy and it even feels quite breezy.

I don't think Justin is going to reach the top 10 tbh, he's just not popular here compared to the US and Ireland to an extent. I'm prepared to be very wrong though :kink:

My top 5 prediction for next week -

1 - Carly Rae Jepsen

2 - Usher

3 - Nicki Minaj

4 - Sean Paul

5 - Gotye

:D

I have been on holiday so it is amazing to see Carly Rae Jepsen at #1, great song! :D

I also approve of Azealia Banks in the Top 10! Where did the sudden boost come from though? :o I also approve of The Script + Wheatus back in the Top 40 (59p price reduction I presume?) and Olly Murs climbing up the chart. :D

Oh, and We Are Young needs to be released tomorrow, it's getting ridiculous! I also do not approve of Nicki Minaj's deletion. -_- When is the video coming out?

It's weird to think that 'We Are Young' is currently #11 on Amazon and has already been Top 10, yet Amazon is so insignificant it hasn't made an impact on the chart.

Climax is amazing!

My Top 5 prediction:

2. Usher

3. Nicki Minaj

4. Justin Bieber

5. Sean Paul

:D

Starships  #3 - I don't understand why it takes so long for a song to climb back up once released. Surely it would go back to how much it was selling before it was deleted almost instantly when it's readded

The single version was never re-added. This is the Deluxe Album version which has now taken the lead. Also a true indication would be 48 hours after the deletion, surely the fact it's already back to #3 in just under that time shows it's selling more now (weekend effect)!
