Pretty much this. I haven't heard the song yet, but I can't imagine Boyfriend being worse than Turn Up the Music.

I can imagine you liking the song actually. It sounds like a song that Eric Blob would love to be honest :kink:

I saw Sway in my area (North London) once in 2005 before he became more well known and was just making videos on Channel U or Channel AKA as it's now known.

That's amazing! :o You must've been so proud of him when he got a top 20 hit.

YES BIEBER. Such a good song.

Hopefully Sway won't climb much further - 'Level Up' is horrendous!

Bieber closing the gap to #1 quite fast. Just 30% left till he reaches it.

Time for me to buy that Carly Rae song, then? :P

01. (1.0000) Carly Rae Jepsen 'Call Me Maybe'

02. (0.7000) Justin Bieber 'Boyfriend'

Bieber closed that gap pretty quickly - it's going to be a tough call as to whether Bieber can hold the top spot on iTunes when he gets it. Did 'Baby' ever reach #1 on iTunes?

I don't get the love for the new Bieber song, people saying it's only hated because it's him. I heard it the other day for the first time and it's bloody awful, it's just not awful in the same way his cheesy generic material of 2010 was.
Surely Bieber will rapidly rise and then sink just as quickly? I never thought he'd manage a #1 over here and would very much like to be correct.

You know, I think I might like it, because I have similar music taste to Jonjo, Sabrina and Cremey and they all like it.

This, he needs to be well ahead by tonight otherwise he'll probably let his lead slip by later in the week.

Its far less cheesy poppy than his previous efforts. The beat even has a slight more urban feel to it. I think you should take a listen

12. The Script 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved'

13. Labrinth 'Last Time'

36. David Guetta 'Without You (feat. Usher)'

37. Usher 'Climax'

40. Sway 'Level Up (Radio Edit)'

71. Alex Day 'Lady Godiva'

98. The Vaccines 'If You Wanna'

I prefer Baby over Boyfriend.

I bet having said that now you'll probably hate it...it seems like the sort of song you'd like though.

'Boyfriend' at #2? :nocheer:

I'd rather see 'Live My Life' (the Far East Movement track) get to #1 over this excuse of a song. I can understand that it's supposed to be a more mature direction for the Bieber (it's slightly Justin Timberlake-esque) but I think the spoken parts of the track are really cringe worthy.

Carly Rae Jepsen for second week at #1 please. :D

What an awful, awful, awful, AWFUL top2! :puke2:
Just occurred to me that we could genuinely have a top 10 with no Brits in it at all this week, for the first time in chart history (unless Sway gets in there). Dramaz. It sort of happened a couple of times last year where there were no lead British acts, but Lauren Bennett was there on both occasions as a featured artist on 'Party Rock Anthem'.

Surprised by the rapidness of Bieber's climb. It is a good song though...

I just listened to it. It's basically an RnB song. I really wasn't expecting that.

It sounds like The Neptunes a bit (I'm a Slave 4 U, Rock Your Body, etc.)

More reason for us all and go download Sway's song then. :kink:
