April 8, 201214 yr That was a rather ABRUPT change in mood. :drama: Sorry For Party Rocking is doing very poorly in the US, so maybe it'll be their last single now from this album. Last single ever would be better.
April 8, 201214 yr 26 (from 27) Kelly Clarkson - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) [D] http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51sX6dtiddL._AA115_.jpg Chart Run: 71-21-11-8-8-9-13-13-8-12-15-22-27-26 [14 wks] Release date: 05-02-2012 Format: download only track Label: RCA Records Label As the very first winner of the AMERICAN IDOL television show competition, Kelly Clarkson was inevitably pegged as little more than a manufactured pop commodity. The surprisingly versatile singer managed to survive against expectations, however, and released one of the most infectious singles of 2005, "Since U Been Gone." The success of the song not only endeared Clarkson to a tremendously diverse cross-section of the music listening population, it altered her status from mere contest winner to genuine pop sensation and pointed to a career worth following. - HMV Video here: Xn676-fLq7I download track listing 1. April 8, 201214 yr I really didn't think Stronger would have half the success it did! Kelly has really put herself on the map this era with Mr Know It All and Stronger... I love her next single, Dark Side too although I'm not sure if radio will support it as much.
April 8, 201214 yr It's probably good Sorry For Party Rocking isn't getting a chance to be overplayed, it's nothing special, and I'd probably hate it like I do Sexy And I Know It if it was much more successful. Nice to see Kelly climbing a place, although it feels like Stronger has been around for ever.
April 8, 201214 yr Only 3 of the top 40 so far have debuted at their peaks (well, 4, but I'm not counting Talk That Talk as it climbed back to its peak last week).

April 8, 201214 yr A bit of a nose-dive for Elephant :( I'm not surprised though considering how long it was held back. It could have been HUGE with more support by radio. I did think it might be a bit higher up as it seems to have been top 20 on iTunes all week, but I guess a lot of other songs have other versions which are higher up. I'm really excited to hear 'Let It Go', When Alexandra gets it right, she gets it so right IMO. :D

April 8, 201214 yr I never understood why Irreplaceable (Live At Glastonbury) counted as it's own chart position? Surely it was combined with the studio version? hm I can't remember anymore either, it was combined I think. guys should we delete it from the chart history?
April 8, 201214 yr Shame this could even remain steady with the price reduction. Then again, if its falling 6 places at 59p then imagine the fall if they hadn't reduced it, and it should remain reasonably steady next week.

April 8, 201214 yr Ouch at that drop (although obviously we've seen it coming all week). Hopefully it won't drop too much next week. Edited April 8, 201214 yr by M.I.É.
April 8, 201214 yr Such a shame people can't seem to appreciate this, I suppose its just not mainstream enough but it really is brilliant. It doesn't seem to be plummeting on iTunes though, so hopefully a few more weeks in top 40 are due.
