See Carrie Underwood - Good Girl has been made unavailable? I bought it when it was first came out a month or two back..! New release date the 7th May! maybe they're FINALLY going to give her a proper push in the UK, especially with her playing the Royal Albert Hall in June! :cheer:

It says it in the digital sales data which hasnt worked in ages...ive never saw a song on 32k daily sales before though which makes it sound suspicious, last week Carley was on 22k per day, no way shed be 10k more this week.....calvin and fun on massive amounts too.would mean the top 3 would be like 150k,100k and 90k, surely not!!

Selling a lot within a day does not necessary mean that it will sell like that throughout the entire week.

Well currently Calvin is #1 in this week's mids, I think that's just iTunes data

I can't see Tulisa getting higher than #4. It seems completely buzzless... Now someone is gonna tell me she's performing on BGT, right?

 

Aside from having absolutely ENORMOUS TV airplay (hasn't it been #1 there ever since the video premiered?), its EP is #53 in the albums chart - Calvin was in the low 40s just before his release - and it'll probably climb more by the end of the week. I can see it having huge sales in its opening week although tailing off quite quickly.

Yeah Tulisa went straight in at no1 on tv in her first week (good looking girl,catchy mtv style electro pop song)but is down to no4 this week, shes been getting 600 plays a week on average which is huge, and radio play has been growing each week - its capital playlist fodder and radio 1 has put it straight into the alist in a C-B-A way!!

 

If shes not top 5 or no1 next week ill eat my hat!!

Thats true but ive never seen a song on digital sales info that was on 32k on one day maybe apart from MWC!

Also, I do think it's quite interesting to see a song by a singer do this well with no promo (not even TV or Radio) and have been gone from the UK charts for 7 years. Ok, it's not blowing up the charts yet, but it shows to the music industry the power of the internet.

 

And Sitting On Top of the World is currently #460

Top 500 is more impressive for Delta than where it was a few days ago. I think if Radio 2 caught onto it people might become interested in Delta again resulting in a top 100 single and a top 10 album

As for this OA/OS-esque release, it's really working for bands at the moment, so hopefully they'll use it again in the lead up to the next album.

R U Mine? dropped out of the official top 100 last week although it could re-enter this week.

 

'Electricity' looks like it could challenge for a top 100 placing itself but another of their B-Sides, 'Evil Twin', did this as well, it just missed out despite holding up well for a good four or five days.
