Last sales total was 379k as of w/e 8 August 2019, which works out at an average of 175 copies per week.

I wonder if its still in her top 20 for sales?

 

I guess its been overtaken?

'The Immaculate Collection' fell out the Top 200 for the first time this year last week. No doubt it'll be back in January.

Material Girl just gone Gold for 400k sold since 1994!

 

Sold 279k in 80s so 679k in total! That's a huge 180k since its last total of 499k (123 weeks ago in August 2019), so ~1,463 per week, ~400 more than 'Hung Up' is achieving.

The w/e 23rd December saw Madonna's version of 'Santa Baby' debut at #191 on the radio airplay chart.

I’m wondering if we could end up getting a surprise Silver certification for Bitch I’m Madonna at some point. I see it was revealed as her 7th most streamed in the UK in 2019, ahead of Vogue and Holiday! https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/m...ed-songs__8646/

 

Otherwise, next in line for a certification would probably be Gold for Ray of Light then Platinum for Beautiful Stranger.

'Dance Mix' was a new entry at #144 to the Official Singles Download Chart for the w/e 19th May - I'm guessing this is the You Can Dance mix of 'Into the Groove'.

Music Week gave an update on the sales of 'Hung Up' last month - as of the w/e 5th May 2022, it has sold 936,155. That's an increase of 37k since w/e 18 November 2021 when the OCC gave an update when 'Hung Up' was included in their Chart Flashback feature, which works out as ~1,542 copies per week. It should pass 1m in February 2023.
