I'll take 17th place! :D I was hoping for not reaching the bottom 5 at best looking at the odds :lol: I always do my disappearing act from the higher end of the table in the last few votes :( But still congratulations Numayania! And comisserations to Eledan :( Both of you had great entries!

 

Anyway I'm glad my mistake didn't have any effect, I gave Batidas the 1 point when it really should've been Fljotavik who got it. :P

I have no guilt, play was my 2nd favourite song by a distance, you were never in contention for the 12. I'd have felt guilty if Tom hadn't won on countback seeing as I deliberated over my 1 point for an age and he didn't get it in the end! And that's only because I felt like Ida was a slightly more inspired entry, taking into account Dragonette's fleeting UK success last year (although admittedly 99% of Joe Public still probably couldn't tell them from Adam :drama:)

 

Oh god at me coming 14th in the semi, at least it way exceeded expectations in the final by finishing in the same place but that was the second time I've narrowly avoided a DNQ like a bullet in as many months, need to find a proper smash again some time soon! Still, the variety of late has been nice even if nobody cares about the entries :lol:

I've only been in three contests! Sneaking up the leaderboard each time though, yessss. I currently have no ideas for the next contest, but given that I only discovered Laura Welsh halfway through confirmation week, that isn't necessarily a problem. :D

If only Laura Welsh beat me to the win in a tie. I wouldn't be so sad :(

I feel bad about that particular one as Veronica started to grow on me after (although a fair bit after). At the time though it was a case of pick the lesser of all the evils.

I now know how Lotopialand felt like. And to lose to DRAGONETTE aka the most average and overrated band EVER?! :nocheer:
