Liberty X sent Twitter into meltdown this afternoon (Tuesday, May 1) after three members of the band were photographed together outside a TV studio sparking reunion rumours.

Michelle Heaton, Kelli Young and Jessica Taylor apparently arrived at ITV’s London studios together, and sources close to the band (who also feature Kevin Simm and Tony Lundon) were quick to alledge that they plan to reform for a tour and a new album later this year.

However, Michelle Heaton quickly took to her Twitter to state “I hear Liberty X are trending... No idea why, we only bumped into each other by pure coincidence, and Tony was NOT hiding in the building!”

The news coincides with the tenth anniversary of their single, Just A Little, reaching the top of the Official Singles Chart.

Liberty X formed following hit reality TV show Popstars in 2001 where the group came second to Hear’Say. While the winners only managed to notch up four Top 20 hits before they disbanded in 2002, Liberty X went on to have 10 before they went on hiatus in 2007.

Haven't they already denied it yesterday

I don't think they were particularly any good tbh, Holding On For You was my favourite though & Song For Lovers.

Yeah, they already denied it. I think Kelli, Jessica and Michelle just met 'by chance' (hmm) and a big thing was made of it, just a mountain out of a molehill really. But something might come of it I guess if they're talking again (although I'm not sure it was because they didn't get on that they split was it?).

I think their split was more because they weren't doing well anymore. The last single and album (both called 'X') bombed terribly. They essentially fizzled out.

I really loved them though, back in 02/03. However, I don't think a reunion is needed.

Liberty X were incredible. I used to stan over them so hard ... I loved that period of music actually with Mis-Teeq too. I miss that kind of urban brit pop :(.

Now Mis-Teeq are something to shout home about <3

"This Is How We Do It" mmmm

'Song 4 Lovers' is seriously one of my favourite ever songs  It is amazing. They're a decent pop group I guess, but I wasn't particularly too fussed about them.
Someone saw the three girls out together and put two and two together. I think if they wanted to reunite, let them even though they may not get the same success as first time round.
