Rihanna can only enter top 10 once Cover Drive have dropped back to #10. I'm not having my Nicki lose her amazing top 10 run officially!

Eurgh, that cr** needs to exit the top 100, not just the top 10. :puke2: Got extremely old after 3 weeks and now it's an instant station changer when it comes on.

I'd have thought the majority preferred Eminem and Vanilla Ice by far.

Well, being white certainly helps. I don't know about Vanilla Ice, but I've seen FOX News complain about Eminem numerous times, even in the past few years, and he dissed Sarah Palin, and campaigned for Barack Obama (like every other rapper did), and his political songs are always anti-Republican, so I doubt they like him that much.

B.o.B is known for Nothin' On You and Airplanes, and they're hardly offensive to conservatively minded people at all. They don't teach bad morals or anything, and they have hardly any swearing or drug references or sexual content in. He has other songs that do those things, but they aren't very well known. Plus B.o.B tends to put on a good public image, like he tries his best to avoid using any slang in interviews for example (as he says in Airplanes). So I think he'd probably be one of the most liked rappers by the Republican poulation. You could but right, but that's just my guess though, I haven't exactly polled them or anything. If his song Strange Clouds had been bigger, that would've ruined his reputation a bit with them I think.

They clearly have it their way now though!! All those safe family-friendly pop songs like Call Me Maybe, We Are Young, What Makes You Beautiful, Starships, Somebody That I Used to Know, Stronger, Dance Again, Boyfriend, etc. on the radio all day.

Alex Clare going to #1 would be INCREDIBLE!!!!!! It has to happen. Please!! Everybody make sure to buy it next week (although I know most of you probably got it ages ago, but just incase ).

I'm hoping this is in refence to Nicki and not to Cover Drive. :coffee:

Wow, I guess Tuilisa's Bgt performance has helped her remain in 2nd place on iTunes.

02. Tulisa - Young 60%

03. Alex Clare - Too Close 50%

04. Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe 50%

Maybe Tulisa will take a tumble to around #05 next week with hopefully The Saturdays entering the top 5.

15. Justin Bieber - Boyfriend

20. Emeli Sande - My Kind Of Love

45. Lmfao - Sexy & I Know It ("Sigh, this should re-enter the top 40 after Bgt)

Looks like Alex Clare is inexplicably the biggest contender besides Rita for #1 next week then :o :cheer:

You know you can get the up and down arrows by typing  and  right? :P

My bad!

Skrillex/Sirah  #43 :o

Wonder if he can go top 40 with this..

Would have done so easily had it been Radio 1 playlisted at the same time the video was released a few weeks ago. The last two years he's released an EP on the 7th of June (they've all been about six months apart so far, and Bangarang was out in December) so we should hear some more new stuff soon.

I'm hoping this is in refence to Nicki and not to Cover Drive. :coffee:

Of course. Cover Drive should of had at least 5 weeks in the top 10 with sparks. :coffee:

Have both the Justin Bieber songs received such big boosts because of the Radio 1 special they did on him yesterday? Far East Movement looked like they were going to stall outside of the top 10, but then they shot up, and also Boyfriend has climbed a lot, after originally looking like it didn't get much of a boost from the music video.
Sexy & I Know it was just performed by a bunch of Grans, I expected a boost when LMFAO performed, now I think Sexy & I Know It might even re-enter the top 30 on iTunes :(
Also Labirinth just tweeted he's performing on BGT tomorrow.

Does anyone know what he'll be performing? Will it be Last Time or has he moved on to a new single?

They are performing Sorry For Party Rocking, but ugh at that utter pile of w*** getting a boost anyway :(

He didn't say on Twitter, but I think his new single is Express Yourself, so maybe that.

Express Yourself is awful

And JUST when we finally got rid of LMFAO from the iTunes top 40...f*** you, BGT. :(

Ooh, I heard 'Express Yourself' the other day and it's very much a return to form for him IMO, far better than 'Last Time'
Tbh, Lab's album is very underwhelming. Nothing even comes close to the immense 'Earthquake'

Yeah, I enjoyed his album, but I was hoping for more songs like Frisky, Let It Go, Wonderman, etc, but most of it was in the same direction as Let The Sun Shine, Finish Line, Last Time, etc. But I still liked it.

93. Usher 'Lemme See (feat. Rick Ross)'

^ Another 'pre-order the album, get this track for free' rising track, so most likely ineligible to chart. Has a nice slow R&B beat to it, so going back even further than his dancey material (which the new single 'Scream' is definitely returning to).
