I think the poster's point is multiple new entries in the same week (so it'll be 2 for Justin Bieber this week, potentially). Looking it up, 'Titanium' was at #53 the week 'Night Of Your Life' entered the top 40 (at #35), and 'Night Of Your Life' fell to #51 the week 'Turn Me On' entered (#20) - so it's not the same situation; but he did have 6 entries (inc. Snoop Dogg collaboration) inside the top 75 in the same week; two of which were new entries ('Without You', 'Turn Me On'); which is what Bieber'll have achieved if it makes the T75 this week.

Yay! Justin Bieber up to #10!!! I haven't actually heard the song yet, but I'm assuming I'll prefer it to Starships. :lol:

 

Sad to see Alex Clare down to #4 though. :( Probably because it's the weekend.

Hmm... A possible new entry for Justin Bieber inside the top 40 then? John Legend managed to reach #27 on a few hours of sales (at #2 on iTunes), so I think two days (one of which'll be spent around the t10/t15) should make its appearance likely for Sunday - can't see it hanging on for much longer though, unless the top 10 effect kicks in, the weekend effect'll push it out.

The UK’s first Shazam-enabled adverts will run in the Britain’s Got Talent final on Saturday May 12, featuring Pepsi MAX and Cadbury.

 

The partnership - announced last month - saw ITV become the exclusive UK distributor for Shazam functionality in UK broadcast advertising.

 

Pepsi MAX and Cadbury are the first brands to offer UK viewers the chance to use the mobile music tagging app with their adverts.

 

Viewers who have the service installed on their smartphones will be able to use the app to interact with the Shazam-enabled adverts during the ITV talent show final this Saturday.

 

Pepsi MAX’s new 2012 football advert Crowd Surfing, will feature the option to use Shazam to win tickets to summer festivals and unlock other prizes, free screen savers and merchandise.

 

It will also link to iTunes so fans can download the Calvin Harris track Let’s Go featuring Ne-Yo, the ad’s official soundtrack.

 

Just read this on Music Week. Hopefully Let's Go will see a significant increase. Unlikely though :(

2. Have you even listened to the song? If not, I suggest you listen first because it has a true meaning which is made clear - I don't see anything to be this harsh about.

I am a fan of the Biebs, I REALLY am. But the new song is not very good and you can tell the lyrics were thrown together. I listened to one minute of it, cringing throughout, and then had to turn it off. Very sweet sentiment of course, but the song should not be Top 10.

Justin Bieber is far from the worst thing in the charts. Boyfriend is a really good song, and it's different to what everybody else is doing.
