I always do at least one bet, normally a couple of quid on a few entries but rarely spend more than a tenner. I've just spent my tenner for this year having just witnessed that flawless jury rehearsal;

 

£10 on Sweden at 7/4 returning £27.50

 

Would have done an each way on Romania but firstly the performance isn't quite the event that I hoped it would be and secondly, it would have been a quid each way so hardly seems worth it for the couple of quid return.

I put a bet on Romania to come top 4 of a fiver, doubling my money and getting me a £15 return. Really should've done it a month ago when it was 15/1, argh. I bet the remainder of my Betfair winnings a few months back (about £7) on a Zeljko victory as it got a £60 return, and it's still a nice long shot. I might whack a fiver on Loreen.

 

Slovenia's at 249/1 to win, that could be a fair each way you know!

I did a couple before the 1st semi-final on Monday!

 

Only £1 stake though:

 

Ukraine E/W - 50/1

Azerbaijan E/W - 25/1

 

The rest of my family has bet on Slovenia, Albania, Iceland and another one which I can't remember. Might have bet on Cyprus actually! :wub:

I've done the same bet as Rich with the same odds. I never place bets, but this seems like a dead cert. I'm tempted to put more on, but I think I'd be gutted to lose more than £10.

I put a tenner on Italy. Not that I think it will win, but if it does, the £80 return will soften the blow after Sweden limps in 2nd place.

 

I also put a few quid in Serbia, but I regret it now coz I think it has no chance! Just decent odds.

Can't remember the odds but I did them on Wednesday night.

Iv bet a grand total of £54 this year! Various bets and some of the ones with better returns such as where will x country finish and who will x country give their 12 points too etc,

I've put a tenner on Serbia about a month ago. It's odds were very appealing... would get about £120/£140 (I think) if they win... which will soften the blow if Sweden lose out... and that is a MASSIVE if can I add (i.e. I doubt it will happen!). I retract what I said about Serbia before, must've been having an off day!

Each way bets (£2) on Sweden, Russia, Italy, Ireland, United Kingdom, Cyprus and Denmark.

 

If two of them finish in the top 3 then I'll make a profit! I think the first three are a decent possibility but Ireland and UK are out of fun and hope and Cyprus and Denmark gave me a good feeling after their semi final performances so their odds appealed to me.
