^What are you on? The Voice got 4.5 million last night.

 

Mandinga finally at least in the top 400 - better than nothing. Yay at Ivi overtaking Roman as well and Soluna going top 100 :D As negative as I was being about Euphoria last night it's far from the worst thing to be doing so well from Eurovision this year, I just don't see why it's adored so much on here. It's quite good but nothing more. At least it's not Albania at #2.

 

Rudimental already in the top 20, should definitely be going at least top 5 then! Hope they can overtake Lawson soon. Alexandra is a little bit higher than I thought she would be at the moment.

Its going to be an interesting week, I can't really call it at the moment until this evening, to see how well Timebomb takes off.

Albania was a work of art, too good to be a UK hit. But in a way that's what's so good about Euphoria, it's memorable, original and interesting while still being commercial and just-generic-enough.

Maybe Kylie will perform it at the Jubilee next week. That will no doubt get a huge audience...

I have major doubts for next week though, my suggestion is we try and get Euphoria or Timebomb to No.1, and try and keep Tulisa, Rita and Carly Rae in the Top 10.

It does sort of lose its gimmick after the blind auditions and then it's just the same thing as the X Factor but without the novelty acts. I've completely forgotten to watch the last two weeks and am not really that bothered. It's gone downhill quickly.

 

This iTunes thread could be the first weekly thread to go over the 50 page 'limit' if it's already on page 10!

I'm not an Alexandra loon so don't listen to everything she releases and proclaim it to be the best single since her last one. For me, as a general music lover, I've been really underwhelmed by Alexandra's latest era. 'Elephant' was lacklustre, and only that remix saved the song for me. 'Let It Go' is just so limp for a dance track.

For me, the biggest flaw in The Voice is that each mentor has one act in the final. If it was more like X Factor it'd probably work more. So basically the acts with the most votes go through to the following week. I don't care for either Vince or Becky in Team Jessie but by the nature of the show, one of them has a guaranteed place in the final.

 

I'd rather two great singers from the same team make the final rather than one average singer getting a spot by default. :no:

That's a good point as well - my two favourite acts on the show are both on the same team (Max and Tyler) but it'd be impossible for them to both be in the final.

that is a major flaw. jaz ellington is massively overrated but he will get the place ahead of tyler james who in my opinion should be there full stop
