People like gooddelta or Jonjo, who are also Euphoria loons, usually post something worthy of READING, while all this OTT Lepland behaviour is frankly annoying, as much as I love Euphoria.

They were technically different versions though, a studio and a live, same with Cee-Lo who did it, clean and explicit. I doubt there's any difference in the versions of Euphoria and Telephone.

 

Yeah, the two versions of Telephone were the same, but they peaked at #3 and #11 during its first week at #1 (and then the version at #11 started falling and the version at #3 climbed to actual iTunes #1 during its 2nd week, so it was never in the top 10 twice.

 

However, I remember Teenage Dream by Katy Perry, Rolling in the Deep by Adele and Next to Me by Emeli Sande all having 2 versions in the top 10 at the same tim.

This is the most random thing in my life. I just viewed this thread this morning and saw some randomer named "Loreen" in the top five, with everyone raving about her and praying she'll be #1.

 

I'm assuming she's from Eurovision or something??

I actually don't know how it's possible to post on Buzzjack and not know who Loreen is.

Not a surprise #1 to me at all if it does get there. Poor Rudimental, heading for a really big hit yet almost no one is talking about them because before release people saw Gary and Alexandra as bigger contenders and now the thread is entirely dominated by Loreen... :drama: Brilliant to see them in the top 3 now, it's a biggish jump to #2 and another biggish jump to #1 with Loreen still pulling ahead but I think they could still get there unless Gary Barlow etc. smash tomorrow (which I doubt as they'll be mostly selling EPs).

If Gary Barlow sells as an ep does that mean he will chart in the album chart?

Doesn't matter if they sell it as an EP, if it has more than 4 different tracks on it - which it does - then it doesn't qualify for the Singles chart, it will appear on the Albums chart instead.

 

Sing will have to rely on individual track sales of its 2 versions, for a good Singles chart placing.

Is Gary Barlow getting to Number one really such a dead cert? I'm not convinced. The general opinion seems to be he will though.

I hope Loreen can hold on and get number one next week! Mini promo tour, please! In the grand scheme of things - it'll do well in other European countries - whereas the uk will need that extra push so i hope her management get her to head over and and do the rounds this week
