June 1, 201213 yr Euphoria is OFFICIALLY #1 in Ireland :w00t: And in France... ...she's a new entry at #34 :nocheer:
June 1, 201213 yr *Gets on the next ferry to Ireland to start a new life* I find it really strange how France, Portugal and Italy are going against the grain
June 1, 201213 yr I think the viewing figures for the contest are pretty low in those countries. Even Anggun and Nina Zilli weren't top 10 (I dunno about Filipa). #12 officially in Spain btw, Serebro - Mama Lover is top 30 there too :o
June 1, 201213 yr Only #12 in Spain? :o Considering that's one of the countries where Loreen shot to no. 1 on iTunes, I'm surprised 'Euphoria' never made the top 10 at least there. :o
June 1, 201213 yr Delighted it has reached #1 here! I noticed it drop on iTunes and was wary it wouldn't make it, but yay! :D
June 1, 201213 yr Due to their "two weeks behind" chart format, 'Euphoria' won't chart in Austria, Germany or Switzerland until next week. It's unlikely it'll chart at #1 in these charts either, possibly #2 or #3. -_- New at #3 in Flanders (likely to climb to no. 1 next week), but only #24 in Wallonie.
June 1, 201213 yr Which and when was the last UK and International Eurovison song to go top-3/5 in the UK, btw? It's SO amazing to see Loreen probably heading for more than a week in the top-10.

Actually it has a good chance of debuting at #1 in Germany/Austria/Switzerland. Its had a big lead in Austria and Germany all week and I can't see it missing it there to be honest (especially as its been confirmed it will chart in Germany). You also need to remember it debuted in Spain thanks to just 1/2 days at #1 (their chart goes from Monday to Sunday). So its been #1 so far in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Ireland and I'd say there will certainly be more countries to follow next week.
June 2, 201213 yr 7 songs in the Irish Top 100 though only 3 actually received points from Ireland on Saturday night. Also only 3 actually made the Top 10 on the night with the others finishing between 16th and 23rd. Ne 01 EUPHORIA - LOREEN Sweden (1st) (12 pts) 10 07 WATERLINE - JEDWARD Ireland (19th) (N/A) Ne 32 LA LA LOVE - IVI ADAMOU Cyprus (16th) (0 pts) Ne 61 PARTY FOR EVERYBODY - BURANOVSKIYE BABUSHKI Russia (2nd) (6 pts) Ne 67 STANDING STILL - ROMAN LOB Germany (8th) (10 pts) Ne 89 APHRODISIAC - ELEFTHERIA ELEFTHERIOU Greece (17th) (0 pts) Ne 98 SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER - SOLUNA SAMAY Denmark (23rd) (0 pts) Also this week we have the return of last year's Irish entry - Lipstick - which appears twice: at 79 is the original version and 14 in a newly reworded version (Put The Green Cape On). 09 14 PUT THE GREEN CAPE ON JEDWARD UNIVERSAL IRELAND 4 Re 79 LIPSTICK JEDWARD UNIVERSAL IRELAND 42
June 3, 201213 yr Official charts so far.. http://bern.hitparade.ch/cdimg/loreen-euphoria_s.jpg 01 Sweden 01 Ireland 01 Denmark 01 Finland 02 Holland 03 Belgium (Flanders) 04 Norway 12 Spain 24 Belgium (Wallonia) 34 France 36 Australia
June 3, 201213 yr Where does that artwork with the "#1 in 16 countries" banner come from? Is it a physical or download? I wish they'd released the bloody UK remixes :(
June 3, 201213 yr Loreen outsold by JAN SMIT in Netherlands!!! :manson: Oh, and Loreen is actually #1 in Norway this week. :D Other peaks include: #1 Greece #3 Estonia (ignore what Scott Mills said during his Radio 1 interview with Loreen, his research was all wrong) #3 Israel #3 Lithuania #3 Luxembourg Although that said, if the Maxi Single is claiming "#1 In 16 Countries", I'd like to see these 16 countries charts as proof. I suspect it means iTunes which would include UK despite that not being its actual peak.
June 3, 201213 yr The glass ceiling for Scandipop? It's still STUNNING though considering the bulk of its promo in the UK was its Eurovision performance.
June 3, 201213 yr Sales so far in the Uk inlcuding last week are 65,138. This will easily pass 100,000.
June 4, 201213 yr The glass ceiling for Scandipop? It's still STUNNING though considering the bulk of its promo in the UK was its Eurovision performance. Despite missing the chart yesterday I listened to it just now to see what Reggie said about it and he was only mildly patronising :o :o :o And the Rudimental record at #1 is a joke, people say Euphoria is outdated, but Feel The Love has a trumpet break :/ fun. being ahead of it is fair enough I guess though, it's probably my fave non-ESC song for the year so far.
June 4, 201213 yr 'Feel The Love' does indeed have a trumpet break, but look at 'Crystalize' from last months BJSC. A dubstep track with a violin - sounds odd on paper but it somehow works really well, and that video had an astonishing amount of YouTube hits. Also going to copy what I posted in the sales thread in here as it could be relevant too: Fantastic singles sales, 62k for Loreen is amazing, and 15k clear of Lawson at #4, she was never in fear of losing that top three placing :D What I find interesting is this: 20.05.12 Rita Ora feat. Tinie Tempah R.I.P. 57,434 Had Eurovision been broadcast on the 12th May instead, Loreen might've been #1 two weeks ago with those sales. :o
