June 1, 201214 yr disappointing to see that loreen hasn't been added despite how much she's being talked about right now, and I don't just mean on this site. :o she's been added to capital's playlist though, which is something. the new ones from chris brown and knife party are really good, so it's great to see them being added. also like the new one from plan b. the taio cruz song is just typical taio, and the rest of the new additions I haven't heard. I hope they add marina next week to give her a chance of getting into the top 40 with 'power & control', but after they removed 'primadonna' straight after it charted I'm doubtful. :(

June 1, 201214 yr Nice to see Chris Brown added. Dont Wake Me Up is far superior than turn up the music.
June 1, 201214 yr I like a grand total of 4 in the entire list - and 2 of those are in the upfront list.. The charts are so dull these days
June 1, 201214 yr An upside to the site's downtime - we didn't have to see the live fury over the Loreen snub :P I am surprised and quite disappointed though, I would have liked to see Euphoria on here as much as I think it's an extremely overrated song. Me being a total flop loon means looking at the playlist on Wednesday was the first I'd heard of Plan B coming out with a new song. Needless to say I'm already OBSESSED with it - not quite as good as ill Manors maybe but still another brilliant song  Unfortunately it sounds like something that will totally bomb though. I just hope this will actually get some support outside Radio 1 this time...
June 1, 201214 yr Pity they wont support older acts by promoting them to the alist like nelly furtado and maximo park!!
June 1, 201214 yr no Kylie  ???? Someone should highlight the part of their charter that talks about supporting pop music... .... roll it up, and cram it up the ass of whoever selects the playlists!
June 1, 201214 yr If Loreen isn't in next week...... :nocheer:.. Surely if you only like 4 out of the 49 songs on the playlist, Radio 1 is not the radio you should listen to/care about. :D Great for Cheryl being A-listed ! And a few new additions I should check !
June 1, 201214 yr Someone should highlight the part of their charter that talks about supporting pop music... .... roll it up, and cram it up the ass of whoever selects the playlists! They've already got tons of pop songs on the playlist from Usher, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, Labrinth, Taio Cruz, Flo Rida, Avicii, Cheryl, Rihanna, will.I.am, etc. Edited June 1, 201214 yr by Eric_Blob
June 1, 201214 yr That's a very widened definition of "pop". They are pop songs moreso than anything else. To be honest the majority of the chart is the same.
June 1, 201214 yr They've already got tons of pop songs on the playlist from Usher, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, Labrinth, Taio Cruz, Flo Rida, Avicii, Cheryl, Rihanna, will.I.am, etc. Cheryl is the only one of those I'd call Pop - the others look to be mostly R&B.
June 1, 201214 yr No Loreen, Kylie or Burke. At least Got 2 Luv U is still there to make up for it though
June 1, 201214 yr Author They are pop songs moreso than anything else. To be honest the majority of the chart is the same. If you're going by pop = popular, then yes, those do fit it. But if you're going by pop, the genre, most of those are not pop artists. Especially not Sean Paul or Avicii.
