Whistle is rather pleasant imo. I just want anything to knock Gary Barlow out of #1 on iTunes at this rate

Gary will have sold over 100k by now so whether he's top or 2nd on itunes he is still going to be number 1, the second top 10 version will ensure that

He's talking about the iTunes chart though, so only the sales of the past 48(?) hours matter. I could see Flo Rida getting there by tomorrow.

08. Coldplay & Rihanna - Princess Of China

40. Kelly Clarkson - Dark Side

Woo, go on Kelly! She has jumped 20 spots in under 24 hours!

At this point, by the next Kworb update or two, Flo Rida will have the #1 on iTunes.

You're making it sound like a CD single with a finite amount of sales - surely the faster he climbs, the more demand is being shown so the more likely he is to sell more next week as well. Although this is reliant on my assumption he won't be frontloaded at all.

That's one way of looking at it - but what he sells this week will sate the pent-up demand, leaving further sales down to whether new people actually want to buy it (rather than just his fanbase).

Whistle is going to be Huge this week... I think 60-70K without 2 days of selling.

ISTM it'll be much closer to 6 figures...

Get that #1 SMASH Flo Rida :D I think he could have another 5-2-1 run. Entering at #5 this week due to missing 2 days of sales. Climbing to #2 thanks to Chezza and then beating Maroon 5 on their debut week. 'Payphone' doesn't sound like a #1 single to me, it won't come close to the sucess of Moves Like Jagger obviously so it doesn't deserve to beat Flo Rida.

What fanbase?

"Dark Side" to #39.

"Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" to #97 & #143.

She performed the latter on This Morning earlier, so expect it to continue rising, especially with the weekend effect getting closer.

Never expected 'Whistle' to be so huge. Obviously Gary is still ahead combined though - I can see Gary selling 140k to 150k and Whistle selling around 60k?
At this rate Whistle will be a threat to whether Cheryl will reach #1 next week or not.
Flo Rida will most likely debut at number two on the chart this week then - Usher will only fall a place or two with the weekend effect and 'Whistle' had already cropped up at #20 on yesterday's update - the sales he'll generate in the next few days are going to be incredible.
