I am actually loving it. It's very, very good! Not quite up there with 'Higher', 'Ego', 'My Heart Takes Over' or 'Issues' for me yet though (or a lot of OYR - my favourite Sats album) but it's a very strong comeback single and is definitely a step in the RIGHT direction. It craps all over 'Notorious' and 'All Fired Up' though (and I like them two songs!).

 

Not sure how big a hit this will be, as it's The Saturdays and we all know that if a song of theirs sounds like it's a smash, it probably won't! I do hope it gives them that number 1 smash they've been waiting for and with at least equal the opening sales of AFU and selling at least a total of 250k, though. I'll be extremely happy with that.

A 250k single, with something like 50k opening sales and a top 5 would be amazing. I wouldn't ask for more than that. Although, I need to see airplay figures, pre-orders figures and all before I say how much they could actually sell in the first week and obviously we won't get that until...well, January, ha!

 

The song has received quite amazing comments on the Popjustice thread of the single which is always nice to read.

It's a little bad that the song has leaked and they've not done anything about it.

I reckon the official radio premiere isn't far away now...

I'm guessing the radio premiere will be within the next 10 days!

I don't really like it. I really miss the Chasing Lights era :(

This campaign is really dragging in.

Really can't get into this properly... It's very good but not at all anywhere near the standard I expected. Looking for a #15ish debut on my personal chart tbh, all their previous singles since Notorious went straight to #1 and stayed there for at least 2 weeks!

A leak doesn't start a campaign... If you consider What About Us as the first single of this era, then it hasn't even really started yet. Things should be moving by December, radio premiere, video premiere, actual promotion in the UK about this whole campaign. People outside music forums and their fanbase haven't heard of this new single yet, the Sean Paul featuring, the US tv-show, etc. They have to start talking about that in the UK...and that's when the realy campaign will start. :dance:

 

The girls had/have a week off. Rochelle tweeted about it on November 15, I think. If they have only one week off, then I suppose good things might come soon/start moving by next week.

I guess. I think i'm just being impatient, although to be fair they DID debut it over two months ago and it's still not had a radio premiere. :lol: Frustrating for fans but should hopefully be worth it in the long run.

Don't worry babe, I'm getting a bit tired of waiting for that "radio premiere" also, hehe. :P

 

However, Rochelle tweeted that they going back to America at the end of the month (not in LA, tho). Things might take more time in the UK than I thought afterall.

I can't wait to see the video for this. :D And I can't wait for the UK to hear the (amazing) last chorus! Really hope this is the "big one" (although I can remember saying this as far back as Missing You :lol:)

Do people really think they got a chance at the #1? =S It just seems like someone big is going to release a single in January and take the #1. Also, the fact that the sales are going to be really low might not help them more than another one because they usually have quite "low" sales themselves.

 

Ugh. I would just like it if it was a moderate hit for them. -_-

I'm thinking it'll probably be like a #5 hit here with a Missing You/All Fired Up type chart run but i'm kinda past caring/getting my hopes up for their releases. I'm more concerned about how it'll do in the US.

Really? I couldn't care less about how it does in the US, but I'm really concerned about its performance in the UK. They had two flops, one moderate hit and a semi-flop from their last four singles. It would be nice if they could have some kind of a moderate hit again, but with a slightly better performance than All Fired Up.

I would love a top 3 hit here, even if it dropped fast.

I kinda care more about the US though!
