Emma Bunton announces My Happy Place, her first new album in over 12 years

 

Emma will collaborate with Robbie Williams and Will Young on the record.

My Happy Place is Emma's first release since signing to BMG and will be available on April 12. Emma last released an album way back in December 2006 with Life in Mono.

 

Baby Spice's fourth studio album features eight covers of some of Emma's favourite songs, with two new songs on the tracklist titled Too Many Teardrops and Baby Please Don't Stop, the latter which will be released as the album's lead single this Wednesday (February 27).

 

Emma will team up with Robbie Williams on a new version of Spice Girls classic 2 Become 1, while Will Young joins Emma for a cover of Dusty Spingfield's I Only Want To Be With You. Emma has also duetted with her husband - Damage's Jade Jones - on You're All I Need To Get By, made famous by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

I miss her being on Heart breakfast in the mornings. She was on for years with Jamie Theakston. They're all friends with the same people as RW. All the same age. She left at Christmas obviously to pursue her solo singing career. I wish her lots of luck with it.

This is my favourite EB single. I loved this when it came out.

 

Capital used to play it all the time. Love the 60s vibe to it and she looks amazing in it.

Blimey -it's all change at Upfront. Old app is gone - new app is up and running.

 

I've managed to get it on my phone and change my user name and get a photo up.

 

There's no topics now - just one big fan wall :wacko: but there is a live chat section presumably to replace the live Insta's he does.

How annoying is that , I wish they had sent some sort of notification to announce the change. I rarely use apps on my phone as I do not want to have my head stuck in a phone all day , bad for your posture -_-

No it's everything Lundi - Upfront is literally no more - they've taken it down. :unsure:

 

I got a link to my emails of where the new site was.

 

There wasn't any notice given. It just went. :huh:

 

I think the new site should be better though because now you can now post social media and photos etc.

 

The only thing I don't like is there is just a revolving "fan wall". So nothing stays put. It's impossible to ask written questions that stay.

 

Not sure if that will be sorted or that is how it will be? They could do with some topics on there.

I can see there are lots of unhappy people who have paid annual subscriptions to the old site and are trying to get their money back.

 

The fan wall is just a mass of posts on every subject under the sun least of all Robbie. I hope they put some topics in otherwise it will have little worth. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to go to discuss the music. -_- it's all very random at the minute. There's no order in there.

From memory we never had great luck with RW sites over the years especially during transition, it will get sorted eventually

The Robbie content is about 5% - there's no discussion and I haven't seen him on there at all.

 

If it doesn't get sorted I won't be visiting.

 

Shame - because the last four years I've visited Upfront every day and enjoyed it.

I read that they are going to charge per month for the app :unsure: ... it's not a big deal but it's a bit unprofessional that they did not tell people that this was happening
