June 7, 201213 yr whingewhingewhinge god it's so slow an index of how popular songs are in a country i don't live in is really boring *readies noose*
June 7, 201213 yr Nice run at the top for Gotye! Anyone have a list of the US number 1s this year? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Hot_1..._of_2012_(U.S.) 2 months nearly for Gotye :o
June 7, 201213 yr The only song I can still stand in the top 5 is Call Me Maybe, and even thats starting to get on my nerves, the only interesting thing to happen in the top 10 this week is Rihanna getting there with WHYB, I can't believe how static it continues to be, you'd think people would be over these songs by now, but the top 3 on the hot 100 is top 3 on itunes also.
June 7, 201213 yr The top 5 this week has remained the same for 3 weeks now. Ignoring the "slowness" of the chart though, it's a good chart imo. Lots of great songs in that top 100, and a decent amount of variety.
June 8, 201213 yr . Lots of great songs in that top 100, and a decent amount of variety. Yep. So much different than the 2000-05 days when all you had were rappers.
June 8, 201213 yr why is Starships still in the top 5 after all these weeks???? It's not even in the iTunes top 20!!!! Get over it already and release Pound The Alarm for God's sake.... And where is the Bubbling under chart??? Edited June 8, 201213 yr by Big Mistake
June 8, 201213 yr What a dull chart. They should really change the ruling or something, to spicen it up a bit, or at least make it reflect what the most popular songs of that week actuallyare  Good to see The Wanted entering.
June 8, 201213 yr Bubbling Under Hot 100 1 8 7 Refill, Elle Varner 2 10 3 Snap Backs & Tattoos, Driicky Graham 3 3 12 Gold On The Ceiling, The Black Keys 4 14 5 Glass, Thompson Square 5 6 5 It's Time, Imagine Dragons 6 11 2 Want U Back, Cher Lloyd 7 21 2 Lovin' You Is Fun, Easton Corbin 8 RE-ENTRY 3 Hard To Love, Lee Brice 9 4 2 Pontoon, Little Big Town 10 15 2 Follow The Leader, Wisin & Yandel + Jennifer Lopez 11 16 11 Bailando Por El Mundo, Juan Magan Featuring Pitbull & El Cata 12 19 4 Bag Of Money, Wale Featuring Rick Ross, Meek Mill, & T-Pain 13 NEW 1 Breath Of Life, Florence + The Machine 14 2 2 Touch'N You, Rick Ross Featuring Usher 15 NEW 1 Go Get It, Mary Mary 16 7 2 Queen Of California, John Mayer 17 NEW 1 Over, Blake Shelton 18 NEW 1 Something To Do With My Hands, Thomas Rhett 19 23 4 The Recipe, Kendrick Lamar Featuring Dr. Dre 20 18 12 Dutty Love, Don Omar Featuring Natty Natasha 21 12 12 Young Homie, Chris Rene 22 17 40 Cinema, Benny Benassi Featuring Gary Go 23 NEW 1 Man On Fire, Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros 24 NEW 1 That's Why I Pray, Big & Rich 25 NEW 1 Jingalin, Ludacris
June 8, 201213 yr Ellie top 15, Calvin & Ne-Yo making progress (unlike 'Till I'm Gone'), Rita Ora climbing and Chasing The Sun debuting on the Hot 100 :cheer: I believe 'Set Fire To The Rain' has now spent longer in the Hot 100 than 'Someone Like You' did as well! Shame 'Rumour Has It' never really took off but even #16 is pretty great for it. Also good to see Jay Sean clinging on to some relevance somehow I guess. Nowhere near as high a debut as 'Hit The Lights' managed though (although that had Lil Wayne on it I guess :P) And fantastic to see Gotye overtaking fun.'s weeks at #1 :D I hope he can overtake their total sales as well. June 8, 201213 yr Can someone explain how a song can fall 52 places in a week? (It just seems strange that Moves Like Jagger would fall like that )
June 8, 201213 yr Author 96 90 Rita Ora - How We Do (Party) Very surprised by this, as she's only #107 on iTunes. Hot 100 points clearly coming from airplay/streaming.
June 8, 201213 yr Can someone explain how a song can fall 52 places in a week? (It just seems strange that Moves Like Jagger would fall like that ) If a song has more than 20 weeks on the chart and falls out of the top 50 it falls off the chart completely. Glad to see MLJ finally gone.
