I agree. It's a very unique song, and something I'd've never expected from Cheryl.

 

I'm hoping 3 Words can re-enter the top 1000 this week on iTunes.

For those who were interested, "Promise This" was #1 at 2:47pm and had a much bigger song ("Just the Way You Are") to overtake. Thread.

 

I don't think JTWYA was bigger that week than Whistle is this week, Bruno was decreasing by that point, wasn't he?

Calvin Harris has just tried to re-create "We Found Love" in a different key, annoyingly it's actually not that bad.

A 12-track album from The Voice UK has now been released on to iTunes featuring performances from the final 8, plus all 4 winner's singles! I believe they are all studio versions, but I haven't checked the previews yet.

 

Expect to see the winner's singles from Bo and Tyler appear in the top 1000 soon, but I fear The Voice have left it far too late to release these - I guess they had to give Leanne a week though seeing as she was the winner.

Yeah, Bruno would've been decreasing by then. He "peaked" at the beginning of the week after Matt's performance of it on X Factor, and had a 50% lead of whatever was #2 (Forget You or Barbra Streisand?), and then decreased from then on.

Are Make You Go and Telescope the B-Sides? I listened to them, and I actually really liked them. Telescope honestly sounds like single material to me (if she ever wanted to release a slower song).

Yep, Bruno Mars only sold 73k that week so it makes this an even bigger achievement because Whistle is almost certainly heading for higher sales than that, unless it's dropping off at a massive rate (which it doesn't appear to be).

 

If she can keep this up, she's surely heading towards 200k (assuming she doesn't start dropping tomorrow).

I don't think any of us expected FFTL to sell almost 300k in one week, and I certinly didn't expect Promise This to shift 157k in a week, so anything above 120k is a brilliant achievement, after her literally taking a year out of music, and with no regular x factor promo/winter release.

 

I honestly think there is potential to go up to 175k, it all depends on how the rest of the week gos, I am confident by the end of Monday she will be on 70-80k

They are both B-sides, but "Telescope" will also appear on the deluxe edition of A Million Lights. I wouldn't be surprised if "Make You Go" were on The Soldiers' Edition though...
