June 4, 201312 yr 1.Leah Mcfall 2.Matt Henry 3.Cleo Higgins 4.Leanne Jarvis 5.Joesph 6.Sarah 7.Mitchel 8.Ash Morgan 9.Karl Micheal 10.Alys Williams 11.Mike Ward 12.Andrea I do think it's a bit unfair that one will go home from someone's team each week as I thing some strong singers will end up going home as there in a strong team. On the American version (since last season at least, initially it wasn't) it's more or less the same as X-Factor, Idol etc. with just the contestant(s) who get the lowest votes go home. It might not be as 'fair' in one way (it's left Shakira, Usher and Adam with just one each and Blake with 3 at the top 6 stage) but it is a better way to ensure that who the public actually want are there. Otherwise it's possible that for example Leah, Leanne and Cleo could be top 3 in the vote (it's basically impossible that would ever happen but still, for argument's sake) and Cleo was 3rd she would have to go which wouldn't be right surely. That's an extreme example I know, but I think the US format is much better.
June 4, 201312 yr So, there's only going to be 3 shows? I actually think it'd benefit them more to draw it out - to give the ratings time to stabilise. I wish they'd do, as Liam said, what they do in the US version, over here.
June 4, 201312 yr The only problem with each mentor having one act left in the final means that someone who came second might've had more votes than someone who won in another group. So having one act per mentor in the final doesn't represent the 4 most popular contestants with the public. If the final 4 consisted of Sir Tom Jones (3 acts left) and Will.I.Am (1 act left) then there's bugger all Jessie J or Danny can do about it. That's why I'd agree with the US format. If they're popular enough with the public vote, they deserve to stay.

I think if we had the US format last series on the UK one I think the Final 4 might have been different .
June 5, 201312 yr I got round to seeing the weekend shows tonight. will.i.am seems to be under the impression that the show is called The Shriek rather than The Voice. All of his team are dreadful.
June 5, 201312 yr I think in The Voice US, there is something that if the song gets into the iTunes top 10, their votes are multiplied by 10 or something like that! That seems like a great idea and I wish they'd do this over here - I suppose they'd have to make it top 40 rather than top 10 here though! :kink:
June 5, 201312 yr The US version in general is just so much better, obviously the way the keep the people with the most votes for a start. It just seems much more entertaining and fast paced, and all the judges are great. Danny and Tom do nothing for me on this show at all, and I loved The Script before I saw Dannys irritating personality.
June 6, 201312 yr Did anyone else notice that all the singers that went through were the ones that performed last?
June 6, 201312 yr I would rate them like this - 1. Leah McFall 2. Cleo Higgins 3. Mike Ward 4. Leanne Jarvis 5. Sarah Cassidy 6. Alys Williams 7. Mitchel Emms 8. Joseph Apostol 9. Matt Henry 10. Karl Michael 11. Ash Morgan 12. Andrea Begley I'm only really interested in the Top 3-5 though.

June 6, 201312 yr Oh dear. :manson: I'm more confused at Leanne doing Where have you been by Rihanna
June 6, 201312 yr FOR f***S SAKE at them doing When I Was Your Man, A Thousand Years and Ho Hey. These songs need to die.
June 6, 201312 yr FOR f***S SAKE at them doing When I Was Your Man, A Thousand Years and Ho Hey. These songs need to die. That. And if Joseph really is singing Higher and Higher, erm... Marcus Collins will be jel.
June 6, 201312 yr Oh dear. Terrible choices for Andrea, Joseph, Mike, Karl, Matt and Ash. I like some of their songs but in those cases I don't like the contestant
June 7, 201312 yr Author I knew Jessie would put Ash straight into the final. I think Sarah is a goner tonight, but she would make a great dance artist collaborating with Calvin Harris and other dance outfits.
June 7, 201312 yr I've been watching slightly behind. That was a blessed relief once Sarah came on as it meant I could skip most of her screeching. I'll be switching over soon so I will watch most of it later.
June 7, 201312 yr I've tuned in 10 minutes ago, missed out all of Jessie's team. Is it just me that noticed that one of the tweets that came up on the screen about Ash getting through was from Buzzjack's Aaron TM? :o (I think it's him anyway) That girl from Tom's team can sing but that song was boring :(
