Isn't Taio Cruz releasing a new song next week aswell? I hope it misses the top 200.

He is.

Taio's last song with Flo Rida flopped hard, I think he's getting less and less relevant - I think this will still make the top 40 but won't have staying power because of its "genericness".

Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Taio Cruz and will.i.am are the new releases to watch out for next week.

Wow. Buzzjack will be in a bad mood next week (well, so will I ).

Where has Fort Minor 'Remember the Name' popped out of all of a sudden? Has it been used in an advert/TV show/Twitter meme?

Dunno. Maybe there was a maths exam today.

Probably because it's being used a lot on Song Pop? Ha, not sure if that would really have enough of an effect!

It's in an ad. (I didn't know what it was but having Googled the lyrics I clearly remember hearing those in an ad).

'Niggas In Paris' back in the top 40 again :D Really pleased how well this is continuing to hold up, I wish 'No Church In The Wild' would get a move on though, it's been top 40 on iTunes for a while but only ever like 38-40 which won't be good enough for the official top 40.

'Bonfire' looks likely to be the first top 40 hit for Knife Party aside from 'Antidote'. I really hope the public properly take to Knife Party now Pendulum have split up.

Looks like Cheryl has gained a bit, as she's up to 55% again. With the second version she's about level pegging with Flo at number 2. I hope she can hold at number 2 overall, a 1-3 fall doesn't look great. I'd like her sales to hold up a bit better than that (at least to make up for the disappointing album sales).

Hahaha, oh Rob <3 Song Pop having an effect on iTunes, now that would be quite odd! I'd be awaiting a climb from Nothing Compares 2 U also, I get that all the flipping time.

I can't breathe, even just reading the song titles. It's too good for mere human beings.

Jason Derulo realeasing next week? Who Knew!

I would not mind a Maroon 5 & Chris Brown top two next week tbh, both songs are excellent.

Yeah, I can't see Jason Derulo's song doing well (at least not in its first week). I haven't even heard the song yet, and I don't think he has a big fanbase here.

I tend to either love or hate Jason's songs. Ridin' Solo is my 2nd favourite song of 2010, but I couldn't stand In My Head.

I want a will.i.am/Flo Rida top 2 next week personally, but I think that's very unlikely. Maroon 5 won't fall that far for starters.

Oh :( I thought I was being really clever!! Oh welll.

I don't think I've ever got 'Nothing Compares 2 U' though! Weirrrd.

Is Song Pop a computer game or something? There've been a few instances of songs climbing iTunes due to being in video games before (e.g. Opposite of Adults by Chiddy Bang, Won't Back Down by Eminem, No Problem by Chase & Status, and one of Example's album tracks aswell, but I can't remember which one atm). But obviously the advert is probably the main reason in this case.

Will.i.am on Gaham Norton show his track just got played for a brief second. And Adam Lambert is performing at the end of the show.

It's a Facebook game.

Will.i.am and Chris Brown should be the top 2 next week, I think the former has a good chance of number 1, although a fake version for Chris Brown suggests otherwise. If it does, I do hope this doesn't just do exactly what Turn Up The Music did chart wise, we really don't need another number 1 like that.

Genuinely in a situation where out of the two biggest contenders for #1 I'm rooting for my 2nd least favourite song of the year so far :( I can't see Payphone being shifted from the top for at least another week though, I'd predict a top 3 of Maroon 5, Chris Brown and will.i.am in that order, with Flo Rida dropping to #4 and Cheryl Cole/Coldplay at #5 depending on if Cheryl continues to hold up or not.
