I mostly agree, but to be fair, Just Can't Get Enough was a bigger hit in the US than anything Britney has had in years.

 

Britney has also been doing this for 14 years, so the fact she is the only one out of her peers (and a lot of new successful artists) that can still debut at #1 with a lead single and #1 album shouldn't be taken lightly either.

 

The Black Eyed Peas can have a hit. Britney Spears can release a single and because of her fanbase in the USA it WILL be a hit.

I like the song but how did this get big all of sudden? Before the Gaga tweet, the song was already 2. And it was NOWHERE before the release, it seems impossible it exploded so fast. Like, it's not like it was an upheld release with millions of views on YT, none of the videos have over 200k views (up to now, obviously). And I know she stars a reality show but its on such a small network. Wow, very odd.
