By the way Eric, Love The Way You Lie is back because it's 59p.

Thank you. :D

I wish they'd reduce Bonfire by Knife Party. :(

Get that top ten SMASH Calvin  Amazing how his touch can make Florence have a third top ten hit!

I feel ashamed for preferring the Calvin remix. :(

Same, after the horror that is Let's Go he feels blacklisted to me  I didn't even like Feels So Close, We Found Love I will obviously give him but that was more Rihanna than him (I know he produced it but still).

The original is absolutely majestic but my god the remix... Shame it took Calvin to get her there but omfg I'm so happy she's doing it!

Really? I'd say WFL was definitely 50/50 the beat is such a massive part of the song! My favourite ever Rihanna release! (I didnt think Only Girl would ever be topped then she did )

I also prefer the Calvin Harris mix of Spectrum!

Calvin hasn't put a foot wrong for me since 'Off The Record' (and before that 'Ready For The Weekend') but I massively prefer the original 'Spectrum' (although the Calvin remix is really good as well).

Don't forget Calvin Harris' magic touch on 'Call My Name' where I'd say it's Calvin's production that makes the song decent rather than Cheryl's vocals.
It's hardly lighting up the charts elsewhere (bar Australia where she's basically Jesus anyway).

Canada and New Zealand (which admittedly is the Ireland to Austalia's UK a lot of the time) say hi! Those three countries are pretty much the only places she's doing really well in though.

Florence :o Never did I expect the remix to get this high but I'm delighted. The highest peaker of the era will be the 5th single  The singles run from Ceremonials is going to look really odd.

24-12-50-84-*somewhere in the top 10*! One of the oddest singles runs I can think of, not that singles run enter my head a lot tbf

Raise Your Glass only debuted at #51 in the US, and it climbed to #1 2 months later.

I don't know why everybody is saying she's flopping. I know she's had lots of massive hits, but she's never seemed like one of those artists that has a massive obsessed fanbase that buys everything she releases and makes all her songs go to #1 the second they're released. If her song gets played on the radio a lot, it'll do fine. I wasn't expecting any better than this.

Yes Flo & Cal :dancing: Would love to see this #1, top 5 would still be great, even seeing it top 10 is brilliant! :D
774. Is Your Love Big Enough? (Radio Edit) - Lianne La Havas

I didn't know the single was getting a release today! Come on Lianne, such a great song and deserves some success.

Is Ben Montague anywhere in the top 1000? Another brilliant song that deserves to do very well.

With the combined EP sales and the inevitable 'Top 10' boost, I think 'Spectrum' will likely outpeak 'Shake It Out' (#12). Fantastic to see it doing so well. I'd anticipated a top 40 entry, but never did I imagine it'd be a contender (and possibly the only contender of the week) for a top 10 placement.

Her discography of this era is actually extremely odd when you look at it - 'Spectrum' looking to be the highest peaking single in the UK, 'Shake It Out' peaking at #2 in Ireland and 'Never Let Me Go' peaking at #3 in Australia!

28. Adam Lambert 'Never Close Our Eyes'

74. Florence + the Machine 'Spectrum'

84. The Vaccines 'No Hope'

Lungs had an odd run itself:

51-(89)-12-54-5-(2)-23-51-(53)

Putting a few in brackets because it's debatable if they should be included there - the #89 being the original peak of DDAO when it got to #23 on re-release, the #2 and #53 being You Got The Dirtee Love and Heavy In Your Arms which were both only included on 'Between Two Lungs'. But even ignoring them, 51-12-54-5-23-51 is quite an odd run.

YES at Spectrum now being top 10 :cheer: Hopefully the album version can at least stay top 100 all week as well. EP still at #1 at the moment but will fall quite a lot by the end of the week. The Vaccines' EP has now actually climbed to #6, quite surprising. Still not looking likely to go top 40 though but should give them a 4th top 100 hit.

Didn't do any harm to Scissor Sisters with their debut album. :P

'Laura' #54

'Comfortably Numb' #10

'Take Your Mama' #17

'Laura {2004}' #12

'Mary' #14

'Filthy/Gorgeous' #5

Although in the case of 'Filthy/Gorgeous' it benefitted from an extremely low sales week. Still, it gave the Scissors their highest peaking single with the 5th release regardless. :D

I never expected Spectrum to do so well, but if its looking like Florence finally getting another top 10 hit then I'm all for it :o I think I've heard the remix on the radio a few times, its quite good but obviously nowhere near Shake It Out standards...
