'Chasing The Sun' at #23, I'm sure movie releases don't normally help songs this much so I wasn't expecting Ice Age 4 to do a thing for it, really glad it has though :D

 

Angel to #33, should definitely be on for top 40 unless it's really frontloaded. Pretty sure 'Go In, Go Hard' was much lower at this stage.

 

'Turn Up The Love' to #38, should be top 40 this week then. I quite like it although it's not as good as 'Live My Life' or 'Like A G6' (better than 'Rocketeer' though), the best thing Cover Drive have done to date.

 

'Never Close Our Eyes' already to #42?! :(

 

Gym Class Heroes to #68 with 'The Fighter', making good progress so far and could well continue their top-10-or-miss-the-chart streak (or at least give Ryan Tedder a third top 20 hit as a credited artist).

Does anyone know if Starry Eyed was in the latest 59p batch? I wouldn't have thought so but it's back up to #189 (it was around the 400s like a week ago) and something has to explain the rise. This has trickle sold REALLY well for a song that wasn't that massive upon release, I'd love to see how much it's sold.

 

Lights is up to #929, is it wrong that I'm fairly excited to see how high this goes? I imagine so. Radio 1 to re-playlist it please. :kink:

I know you're not being serious, but maybe they should re-playlist it. The song clearly has a LOT of hit potential.

I can't see Heatwave peaking any lower than #2 to be honest and I think it's likely to go to #1 - its pre-order is doing pretty well and this fake version being quite high bodes well for it too. It's released in the same week as Calvin Harris/Example - their pre-order is also doing quite well but is behind Wiley. Calvin to end up with the second highest new entry of the week at #2 for the third time in four singles? :drama: In the meantime helping Rihanna, Cheryl Cole and Florence + The Machine to #1s. Poor Calvin.

 

EDIT: Actually, should have checked that before saying it. Calvin's pre-order is ahead of Wiley's now, but it was behind the other day. Still, it could be either but they should be the top 2 that week.

Turn Up the Love is so much better than Live My Life. It reminds me of some other songs like 212, Hotel Room Service/Calle Ocho and I'm In Miami Girl.
