Anyway, BASICS. The next UK single's due to be an updated version of My Heart Is Refusing Me (#40 smash ahoy!) and the album, possibly called Rapture, is due in September (or possibly not but that's the last we know).

Anyway, the latest. It was the birthday of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden (think a Swedish Kate Middleton if she were heir to the throne) the other day and they celebrate every year by putting on a big televised concert for the schlager-loving heiress (OMG imagine if Kate were that amazing). Loreen performed (along with Agnes and Danny but WE DON'T CARE ABOUT THEM) and we got a POSSIBLY revamped (but potentially just live) version of My Heart Is Refusing Me and a live orchestral version of Euphoria with MORE STRINGS. Both are GIVING ME LIFE

 

 

I watched both performances in full earlier and was going to post them too, they're immense.

 

Unimpressed with Agnes being swept aside though, Release Me remains in my all time top ten and One Last Time is stunning. Both had stellar performances from the new queen of bad eye make-up.

UK TOUR. PROMPTO. PLEASE.

 

This is what I love about her, she makes every performance so different to any of the other performance she's done of said songs and I love how drastically different the song is, whilst keeping the same, euphoric sound of the original. It's wonderful to see someone do this and it really is part of what makes an artist, well an artist. :wub:

The album is out on 10 October, unless they change the date.

'Euphoria' was used in a montage during the F1 Highlights show on BBC yesterday afternoon! :cheer:

Loreen posted on Facebook today she was in a studio session with Kleerup! (He produced 'With Every Heartbeat' I think?)

It's still fantastic that it's managed to have 12 weeks top 100, and is currently at #59 in the Official Charts, this could have been a HUGE hit had it had more airplay tbh.

Has it had a 59p sale yet? If not, I hope this could get a bit higher with that price reduction. I'm still not that bored of this. It's gone on to become a firm favourite of mine.

Incase anyone missed it, Euphoria was used on Big Brother last night during Heather from Eastenders' entrance :lol: . My Twitter feed went absolutely crazy about it! It would be great if that somehow managed to get the song back into the Top 40, but it's unlikely. Does anyone know why exactly it climbed to #59 last week?

I heard this in a bar in Protaras last night and that was the highlight of my evening! :lol:

Just seen that! Amazing :wub: So beautiful and the "dreamy" instruments (don't know what they are called :lol:) are perfect! And the power right at the end is brilliant, I'd love a studio version with exactly the same instruments and everything!

 

Apparently the release date for the album is October 24th! :D

That new song *.* I love how she's bringing a proper 90's/early 00's dance sound back to the limelight and not this generic Guetta crap. It really does sound like it's going to be the original idea that Syco wanted Leona to go for with 'Collide' etc..
