this song doesn't sound like it'll go down as a gaga 'classic' in future, like it IS pretty throwaway so i doubt it'll stand the test of time.

I think is probably the right move for her sales wise and to get big support from radio again, I hope the rest of the album isn't like it at all but I can totally see why she's chosen something like this for the first single.

Actually with a few more listens, her diction is fine.

I thought this, Born This Way is still quite divisive of course and this seems to be the same! I do hope she picks the singles better this time, I loved all of them last era but Judas and You & I should not have been released, and Marry The Night would've been a much better lead.

It would have been foolish to release anything but a safe generic club banger in all honesty. Seems the team could be playing it right with this especially if there's album tracks like Aura/Burqa lurking in there as well.

OMG at those verses :wub: and that build up to the chorus is fab as well but the chorus is a little bit downish for me. Having to be very honest as I wanted to like everything.

 

Hopefully in time the chorus will grow on me however it's much better than Born this way by a clear mile :D

It's okay but the 'applause' chant is irritating. The rest of the chorus/verses are good though, and it's a whole lot more fun that anything she's put out since "Just Dance", so I'm glad about that.

What Theo's saying is true. And FUN Gaga is what resulted in her two biggest hits, I think everyone was expecting something along the lines of the critic and fan fave that is Bad Romance, but instead we've gotten this Fame-like BANGER.

 

Gaga's bringing synthpop back BIG TIME.
