If you're actually trying to suggest that Loca People went to #1 because people thought it was a genuinely good song (and even worse, that success = quality), then it's nice to know I'll never have to pay attention to your posts again.

What! I HATE Loca People, I was saying that I remembered that you don't need a fanbase or a good song to get to number 1.

Apparently Gaga is releasing her new single in August!?!?!?!?! :w00t: Not sure if it's true yet, but Twitter seems to suggest it is!

It will probably enter at #3 though with a Friday release date <_<

OMFG really? She needs another #1 EOG was ROBBED.

And Queena FTW. B-)

I'm sure we'll have some other massive release in September anyway! :D Possibly Carly Rae Jepsen's first single from her new album?

Isn't P¡nk releasing her single in September?

Tulisa's new song is awful.

I'm 99% sure Tulisa will get her second #1 single with "Live It Up".

Karmin doing really well now! :D

I believe so, but I doubt Pink will get to #1 here - but then again Raise Your Glass was OA/OS wasn't it? But I think Pink's releasing same week as Tulisa, so I doubt she can beat her! Maybe it could go to #1 in the following week though? It all depends how much airplay Pink can get - she is off to a good start with Capital.

This is bad time for the music industry. I have made some predictions, and I believe that between now and October, we'll have only 5 no.1's

Florence = 3 weeks (Including the 2 she currently has)

Calvin and Example = 2 weeks

Rita= 1 week

Little Mix = 2 weeks

Tulisa = 2/3 weeks (Unless something else happens)

Let me amend this...

Florence = 3 weeks

Wiley feat Ms D = 2 Weeks

Rita Ora = 1 Week

Lady GaGa = 3 Weeks :D

Tulisa = 1 Week

When's the new Ne-Yo song being released, he may get the #1 as well as he has the no.1 video on iTunes, just like Beautiful Monster did last year.

Something tells me Ne-Yo's "Let Me Love You" will make #2, just like another song he wrote called "Let Me Love You" did back in 2004 :D (it was sung by Mario, but written by Ne-Yo)

Methinks the #1s will go like

Florence + The Machine = 3 weeks

Wiley feat Ms D = 2 weeks

Rita Ora = 1 week

Little Mix = 1 week

Owl City/Carly Rae Jepsen = 2 weeks (this has no date, but surely it'll be released by then)

Tulisa = 1 week

If GaGa really does have a new single next month, I don't think it'll go to #1. "Born This Way" didn't and that had a massive amount of hype. Amelia Lily, Fazer, Ne-Yo and Pink should all go top five but not #1.

Ne-Yo is due a #1 this year, he gets one every even numbered year (he also had Give Me Everything last year which was odd-numbered of course, but that was only a feature). I think 'Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)' should get there.

(And in the process be one of the longest titles for a #1 in ages - the same number (41) of non-space characters as 'I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)' but a couple fewer characters including spaces :magic:)

I agree with your predictions above though I am not convinced Little Mix will do it, I wonder when they will release the video? I would also say Fun and the new Script song are contenders as well. I wouldn't even be surprised if Michel Telo gets a top 5/10 either as his label seem to be hyping it abit (of course it could also flop).

I think Lady Gaga's success will depend on how good the song is, if its another great song then it has every chance of #1. She had massive hype for Born This Way which I am not sure she will get again

Ugh god I hope that Ne-Yo song doesn't make #1, it'd be a worse #1 than Payphone and that says something!

Then again I am biased as I hate Ne-Yo aside from one or two songs, LMLY is one of his very worst though.
