Looks like the rumours were correct and Olly is performing 'Right Place Right Time' on Britain's Got Talent on Friday May 31st! His team posted on Facebook:

We are delighted to announce that Olly will be performing an exclusive album track on the Britain's Got Talent semi final, on May 31st! OllyHQ

Hopefully this can reach the top 40, 'Right Place Right Time' is my favourite Olly track of all!

I've just been watching it - smashed it as always! I'm seeing him in Peterborough next weekend so it's getting me pumped for that!

OK...new interview with Olls on Digital Spy today and it would appear that the album might be re-released at the end of the year - although there's no clear plans yet. He said the following:

"We’ve potentially got ideas in the pipeline for something before Christmas,” Murs told Digital Spy. “Maybe something new, something fresh. Or maybe a duet. We’ve got footage from the live tour we might use. We’re not sure what we’re going to do for Christmas just yet, but there are ideas in place for the fans.”

He added: “This album has legs on it - and I’ve always been like, ‘Aww, I don’t want to do a re-release of the album’ - but I think this one has some great songs on it and we’re just looking at ideas. I’m going to be doing some writing in the summer, so I might have some new material for Christmas. It might be a case of doing something with another artist. I’ve never done a duet with a girl before, so that might be an idea as well.”

Personally I'm all for this - a new single and a couple of new tracks to go with it without having to rush record a new album would make sure he's not too far away and that we have something new to keep us ticking over until album 4 next year. Plus it'll get the album up to a million or thereabouts from being re-released. And also if it becomes a way of getting the DVD of this tour I'm especially all for it! It was an amazing show at the O2 and people need to see this!

I sensed this would happen when he said there would be no new album this year. Im also all for it as it looks like it will be a decent re-release that will be worth purchasing. The album will have easily sold 800,000 by the time of the re-release and Olly always sells well at Christmas so i would predict by the end of 2013 Olly will have 2 million selling albums to his name as In case you didn't know will certainly break the million sales barrier well before the end of the year as to my knowledge it should be on 980,000 now.
Such a fantastic performance of 'Right Place Right Time' tonight!! It is such an uplifting and anthemic song and I really hope both this song and the album get a massive chart boost from the performance!!
Why didnt he perform Dear Darlin

It's been known for a couple of weeks that he was performing an exclusive album track, and the title track in particular. I still think it was a fantastic idea that could even get him another top 40 hit or top 75 at least and it is bound to get him lots of album sales. Plus I love the track

I absolutely love Right Place, Right Time - such a good track, but I don't think it worked as well live. It's a shame, but it'll have an impact on the studio version which is what matters!

Well, that's no shock. SyCo would never ever miss out on a chance to cash in on the Xmas market with an act who's still making them profits, so it was inevitable that they'd atleast do a re-release if there wasn't going to be a whole new album  That should definitely make it his best-selling album to date.

I think it sounds better live, especially on the tour it sounded wicked :)
Great to see the album improve by 12 places in the album chart this week from its midweek position, sales for the album now stand at 723,138 and it will stay top 20 again this week or possibly top 10. Should easy clear 800,000 by the time of re-release.

"Dance with Me Tonight" is looking likely to be next single in US. Although the dreaded words "change it up" have been uttered which doesn't fill me with too much excitement.

He performed "Troublemaker" at an awards ceremony in Rome last night.

Troublemaker and Dance with me tonight are of the same style, but yet different and i think it is a great follow up to troublemaker in the States, i really hope Dance with me tonight can do as well as troublemaker did.

Anyone know the track listing on his album that was released in the States.

If you go back to the first two or three pages at the start of this thread I posted it somewhere...I think! It's seven tracks from our version of the album plus Heart Skips a Beat, Dance with Me Tonight and Oh My Goodness.

The album is up to number 9 in the midweeks, this is brilliant, he may climb even further by the end of the week.
Hope so! If this album does eventually go over 1 million, will it be the first solo male, X Factor alumni to do so? I can't think of many X Factor related albums which have sold over 1 million!
