June 6, 201312 yr Hope so! If this album does eventually go over 1 million, will it be the first solo male, X Factor alumni to do so? I can't think of many X Factor related albums which have sold over 1 million! I think it would be the third X Factor album to pass 1m (after Leona's and JLS's first albums....One Direction's first album might eventually make it too).
June 6, 201312 yr Interesting that he could be the first one to do it with an album that isn't his debut! :o
June 6, 201312 yr Olly will have 2 million selling album, right place right time will certainly do it with the re-release and incase you didnt know is not that far away. He may be the third X Factor act to have million selling albums but he will easily be the first to do it twice.
June 6, 201312 yr Author Interesting interview with Olly today on - wait for it - Popjustice. http://www.popjustice.com/interviewsandfea...ly-murs/115241/
June 7, 201312 yr Author They were quiet hard on him in that interview. Glad I'm not the only one who thought so. He held himself very well though!
June 7, 201312 yr Author Ugggh. Once again I underestimated Columbia to not break what doesn't need fixing. The "US remix" of 'Dance with Me Tonight' is out and it's bloody awful. They've made it sound cheap! http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/olly-murs...o-mix-premiere/
June 8, 201312 yr The normal version sounds more wholesome. I don't know why they had to touch it up or whatever? It was extremely radio friendly just the way it was. This feels so watered down and wouldn't surprise me if it was the original demo. Shame really. At least there's no irrelevant rapper on there this time, though! :D (Still my favourite single of his I think!)

I very much agree and the album version did well with cherry-picks, managing to make the bubbling under chart so could be another success if pushed. I've always found it overrated and nowhere near his best but this new mix sounds a bit less radio friendly imo!
June 9, 201312 yr Author Actual Olly with actual JT backstage at Capital Summertime Ball today. So happy/jealous! http://i40.tinypic.com/2wco4l4.jpg
June 10, 201312 yr A duet with Justin Timberlake could work greatly and give Olly's American profile and a very nice boost.
June 10, 201312 yr Author I've just posted over in the Robbie forum about this but basically we can expect the release of a collaboration with Mr Williams by the end of the year! Robbie Williams hints at Olly Murs collaboration 'Candy' hitmaker Robbie Williams has revealed that he has been working with cheeky singer Olly Murs recently and their 'project' should be unveiled later this year. During an interview with Capital FM about the Summertime Ball, the Take That superstar explained that he has "done a bit of business" with 'Troublemaker' Murs over the past few weeks and they plan to release something before 2013 is over: "We've done a bit of business together in the last few weeks that should be coming out towards the end of the year in one way or another." Meanwhile, Murs has been confirmed as the main support act for Williams' upcoming tour and the first date will take place this week in Ireland on Friday, June 14.

June 10, 201312 yr Author I think the JT thing was just Olly being a fanboy as usual, I doubt anything will come of a hook up Regina. He had his hopes pinned on getting a picture with him yesterday so I'm pleased (if slightly jealous) that he did! I'd been hoping for so long that him and Robbie would do a song together - more so when the support slot was announced - so I can't wait to hear what they've come up with. June 10, 201312 yr I'm not too surprised by a Robbie collaboration, they've evidently been close since they met when he was on X-Factor.
June 10, 201312 yr Author Exactly. They've always been very supportive of each other - Robbie actually heard a lot of Olly's first album before his record company did believe it or not (or at least the demos from Olly's laptop).
June 11, 201312 yr Just listened to the whole album after Dear Darlin' started to grow on me (a lot), and it's absolutely fantastic. Still not a fan of Troublemaker , but Army of Two and Dear Darlin' are fab, as well as Hand on Heart and Cry Your Heart Out.
