I didn't even know 'Summer Paradise' even existed until today, not a mention of it anywhere! That's pretty unusual for me so I'm wondering how many people actually know about it and will buy it this week.

 

As for 'Bom Bom', I LOVE IT. :wub: Will certainly do as this year's 'WTF' anthem but unlike the other two, I can see it having the potential to tire on me pretty quickly. :(

On this website, somebody gets ridiculed for saying Madonna might go top 10, but saying 50 Cent should die is TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE apparently. :rolleyes:

Same here. I was expecting a dance song too, since it features Sean Paul. :lol: So I was surprised at how it sounds. It reminds me of Train a bit, so I think it might do okay. I'm confident it'll go at least top 40 anyway.

It wasn't even to do with the charts either. We were talking about how got shot 9 times, survived, etc. (we all know the story), and then someone is like "Oh, I really wish one of the bullets finished him off". Nobody brought him up on that, yet someone gets like half a dozen mocking responses because he thinks Under the Sun will go to #1. :lol:

It might be actually! :o I can't remember where Like a G6 peaked though, it might've got as high as #3 on iTunes, but it peaked at #5 officially.

 

Like a G6 was in the chart for ages though. What I DO remember is the melt-downs when it re-entered the top 10 after everybody thought it was finally gone. :lol:

I just listened to Bom Bom and was so disappointed. I expected another life-enhancing jam like the timeless classic that is Loca People but this is just an awful mix of annoying and boring. :( Hope it somehow doesn't smash, it's not catchy and it's not even funny? I can't see the appeal.

Same here... I was expecting something a bit quirky and oddball after all the descriptions but it just sounds like a standard dance single to me.

 

It's the second novelty dance track I've listened to today and I definitely preferred the other (VIDEO WISE!!!):

 

 

I realise it's AWFUL as hell but I could totally see this being a hit here for some reason.

And I honestly never get tired of those "hot girls pole-dancing on train" scenes in music videos. :wub:

I don't think Gangnam Style is serious, iirc PSY is actually a famous comedy act in Korea and humour is part of his music, like The Lonely Island sort of I guess.
