Madonna's Career = R.I.P (Unless she becomes a singles artist and works on songs more suitable for her and the charts)

Or gets 10 years younger? :P

If I had a pound for every time I read about the end of Madonna's career........

Lost In Your Love #15  climb in to that top 10!

Drunk On Love #71  Really want this to be the next single from Ri.

London Symphony Orchestra look like they could get a top 40 hit with 'Chariots Of Fire', currently at #32 - it'll probably crash out of the top 100 really quickly once the Olympics are over though of course.

Hope Underword get another week inside the Top 20, Top 15 would be awsome and also for the Arctic's to get another week Top 40 would be great too.

Hope Redlight can get Top 10, but Top 15 would be fab for them this week.

But to be fair, she wasn't ever this low in her career. MDNA is a flop compared to her previous albums :(

Ah, just as I was thinking iTunes doesn't seem to credit Esme Smith as a feature on 'Caliban's Dream' when she's credited everywhere else, she's suddenly been added on there. Just makes the artist credit even longer though :drama:

It does strike me that she doesn't seem too bothered about promoting it. The promotion she has done comparative to the promotion for her film is quite poor. I speak about her UK promotion only. Most of her fans are probably of an age who would still buy a physical product which saved her chart reputation for a while post the download age, she just needs to get interested and do proper promo rather than an afterthought. Just my thoughts. Also stop trying so hard and make a killer tune.

Ok Madonna!

Madonna has had a better career than all my favourite artists put together, so I'm a bit jealous of her overall success tbh.

That's what I want to see!  *fist pumps*

I hate the current No.1. Wiley is rapping gibberish, and the chorus is awful.

But no increase for Calvin means that only Lawson can beat it ATM, which is also bad.

Next week will be better, as it's Rita!

Redlight could end up as high as 5 this week with sales for that position last week only hoovering around 30k!! Hopefully florence can fend off the horrible lawson and stick at no3 meaning they will be at 4 and falling fast by next weekend!!

 10. Lost in Your Love - Redlight

 11. Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa) - Maroon 5

Can't believe Redlight is heading for a top 10 hit :o I didn't think we'd ever even see him in the top 40 again after 'Get Out My Head' but this is actually doing better! (The song is growing on me rapidly after thinking it was only okay at first). Second version at #47. Maroon 5's top version FINALLY out of the top 10 :D At least it didn't stay there as long as MLJ I guess.

 23. Scream (Radio Edit) - Dizzee Rascal

Could still go top 20 but top 30 looking more likely. This could end up being his lowest peaking single since 'Off 2 Work' if it doesn't pick up.

 53. Little Talks - Of Monsters and Men

Taking its time to climb :(

 99. I Wanna Rock (Radio Edit) - Maxsta

Shame this has pretty much bombed but at least it's top 100 now. Hopefully it can still scrape into the official top 100 like 'Goldie' did last week.

'Lost in Your Love' maybe a similar situation to Nero's first two singles; debut hit Me & You goes Top 20 (like GOMH), followed by Guilt going Top 10 (thus meaning Redlight's third single will be a low-selling #1? :kink:). Either way, great to see him doing so well!

Ok Madonna!

If I was going to buy a Madonna, the quality of the music has to be key. 'MDNA' is on par with 'Hard Candy'. Neither album can seriously be considered as even remotely good. Madonna's last excellent album, imo, was 'Confessions On A Dancefloor'. Even 'Celebration' (the track recorded for the greatest hits of the same name - particularly the album version) was better, imo, than everything released from both 'Hard Candy' and 'MDNA' to date.

Having heard Madonna's latest 'Turn Up The Radio' I was surprised at how amaturish it sounds.
