They really need to delete the fake 'Bom Bom'. It's taking up an all-important position in this competitive week towards the top end of the chart!
Elbow are still ahead with the other versions and the other one in the top 100.

official song of the Olympics

(I'm not including 'Next To Me' as it wasn't actually performed, but that is up to #32 per Jack's update and probably benefiting from Emeli's performances).

During my lunch break I decided to go on Kworb to see how the UK iTunes chart was looking and :o at how much it had changed from last night.

With all the different versions of the songs combined, it will be interesting to see how this Sunday's chart pans out.

Poor brave Porter Robinson though!!! :cry:

There's no problem, it's your choice but it just seems it a bit strange

Really? Everyone I've spoken to (or a lot of them) have all criticised the Olympics - including me. I think it's ignorant to be so shocked that someone might not watch it. Tbh I think most people who watch it only watch because they believe everyone else does and they don't want to be left out.

Poor brave Porter Robinson though!!! :cry:

If you took out the 4 tracks from the Olympics Closing Ceremony above Porter Robertson he would have been top 10. On a quiet week he could have mustered a top 10 hit, shame about the Olympics coverage getting in the way.

Read All About It pt. III is doing really well! :lol: Looking back, Emeli's peaks are going to look so weird from this era! :lol:

Heaven = #2

Daddy = #21

Next To Me = #2

My Kind Of Love = #17

Read All About It pt. III = #3/4/5? :lol:

I wonder if they'll just make that the next official single now or if they'll release something else. I do love it when Part II or IIIs chart really well though, like Alicia Keys' solo version. :wub:

It's not a shame to be fair. Seeing Elbow going top 3 on iTunes with a three year old track has provided me with a :D moment. It's such a popular song, and it's been like an unofficial national anthem for the UK since its release.

Technically, 'One Day Like This' did make #1 thanks to that Comic Relief All Star Animated Band in 2009 ( :D ) but it's not the same as the genuine article.

I wonder if Emeli could get her first #1 single with her new collab with Naught Boy, Wonder. It just sounds so good. :wub: To be fair, everything she does has.

Love seeing the Spice Girls back in this thread :wub: just wish each song was much higher!

Not really, it's not exactly out of the ordinary for songs with high previous sales to re-enter that high or even much higher than that. Especially old songs.

I wonder if Emeli could get her first #1 single with her new collab with Naught Boy, Wonder. It just sounds so good. :wub: To be fair, everything she does has.

She already has a #1 with Professor Green. :P But yes I hope Wonder does well!

I'm not too keen on Olympics-related songs in the top 10. I wish Porter Robinson was top 10. :(
Excellent to see Little Talks back up to 41 and the Olympics boosting Elbow, Kate Bush, Emeli Sande, Muse etc is brilliant. What a nice shake up.

Ohmy Emeli at #3 with Read All About It :wub: :wub: What I wanted when I first heard it. :heart:

Happy to see Elbow, Kate Bush AND John Lennon in top 10 too :dance:

That is four surprise entries in the top 10 on iTunes :D
